roberto-
if tony's past behavior exemplifies his future behavior, he will make him an offer he can't refuse and then he will have him rubbed out. you are right, that particular show was intriguing due to the nature of how he handled the whole race issue. coming from new york, i know how the whole race thing is between the diehard italians and the african americans. not always a good thing. they have that whole "it's o.k. to be friends and work together, but don't mess with my daughter" type thing going on. this show is very true to life.

I was largely disappointed with the first episode of "The Sopranos". But one subplot I found intriguing was when Tony Soprano let his daughter's mixed (half jewish/half black) boyfriend know that he did not approve of him associating with his daughter. So troubled by it he had a heart attack. I hope this story line is given more play. Carmela, his wife told him if he plays the race card he will drive his daughter into the arms of the young man. Do you think Tony "the Mafia boss" will rub out the kid or make him an offer he cannot refuse? ~ Roberto
