I have to laugh whenever anyone has ever tried to use that stereotype on me. While I would never, ever use a friend for money or sexual favors-I personally have never dated anyone who was richer than myself. Most of the women I have met are usually upper middle class, as myself or middle and lower middle class. I haven't had many opportunities to meet women who needed to be taken care of and I have always had more than enough money that I never needed anyone elses.

As for sex, if I needed sex that bad that I had to go after easy ones--I guess I would just buy it. Otherwise, it is pretty disrespectful on both parts. Also, how is it that white women are always considered easy--and yet disproportionately, black unmarried women are pregnant and having children out of wedlock. It doesn't ad up and the stereotype never held weight.

yes, it's true! i've had a few brothers try this on me and know of many more ww who have lost LOTS of money to bm. of course, i'm 45, and older ww usually have more financial resources than a younger ww, so maybe that's why you don't see it as much. also, as a young woman, you have more men at your "disposal", and there are many women who end up PAYING for the sex, even tho it originally didn't start that way. it's usually couched as a "loan" (baby, do you have $50 you can lend me?) notice i say LEND, but the loans end up as being straight up GIFTS.

then to top it off, the women find out that the men are using the money that you give them to their OTHER gf's! talk about being slapped in the face!

it IS very cold behavior on the part of the man, but it takes two to tango, i say! it is a huge red flag when a man asks you for money and you haven't even been dating for 2 months!

The assertion that some black men use white women for money is almost certainly more true than false. I've personally observed it in numerous instances; (almost everyday on my college campus) but it really is a simple barter arrangement. Let's face it ladies; I know that a fair number of you think that nice guys are just too boring. And the marginally-educated, thuggish brother has a hyper-masculinized, independent-streak that must seem very refreshing. That is what the girls seem to crave at a certain age. And as for the brothers themselves, well it's not difficult to figure out what they crave. It's a simple transaction; very temporary and risky if one party tries to make it more than that.
It seems to be a source of great conflict for girls at certain ages; the only available men that are capable of the profound intimacy that a relationship requires are the least interesting.
...Stability, trust, work-ethic, Bah! who needs em!

Is this true? I hear it every now and again and in French Vanilla's post. For a black man, some of them have this idea that if they hook up with a ww, she's going to buy him things and get easy sex. I know it's not the case with all bm and ww but I'm not going to buy any man off.
