Mad Scientist:

I understand you are into astronomy. Check out the gallery of hundreds of photos from the Hubble Space Telescope on the following sites:

For me this brings out the "Young At Heart" for me. I love earth and space science. I love to study the natural world. I was turned on to this years ago from reading the Time/Life Book Series on the Natural World. African wildlife and prehistoric life is my forte. I can tell you anything you want to know about African wildlife from the Serengeti Plains to the Mountain of the Moon in the Cameroons. This for me is my "Young At Heart" from my early days and to this day.

Hi Mad Scientist, I hit 47,981 a few minutes ago..I was trying for 50,000, but I didn't make it. I'm packing it for the night...those cones are making me dizzy *smile*. ~ Lily

Challenge: Just for the fun of it...try to beat my highest score of 46,892 on Jet Slalom. As I mentioned in a previous post...it can become addictive, but it is an easy going way to unwind. My goal is 70,000 and then I promised myself I would break the addiction and find another game challenge. :D ~ Lily

Hi Rob, thanks for the post. It sounds like you are having a ball at your sister's house. I am looking forward to hearing all about your trip when you return. We will chat tomorrow...a lot of catching up to do. My best to you and your family. Tell your sis I said hello. Oh, thanks for all the photos of you and your family...they are terrific. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Are you having corned beef and cabbage and green beer today? I cannot stand beer...yuck! :D Take it easy on your trip back home. ~ Lily

Lily:

My nephew here in Columbia, Maryland is bringing out the kid in me on his playstations. He already has me hooked on Tekkan 1 and 2 (martial arts fighting game) and the wargame "Metal Gear". I guess its the aggressiveness in us males that likes to come out. Believe it or not this kids tells me that he finds relaxation and enjoyment in war, sniper fire, and commando games. Boy! how times have changed. Lily, you should see this kid's room. He has three computers workstations linked (networked together)in his room, and a computer in every room of my sisters house. All networked together. My sister has spoiled the hell out of him as the only boy. He is 16 years old and knows more about computers (he majors in electronics) than anyone I know of his age. Lily, I think this kid is bringing out the kid in me again. Take care Lily. ~ Roberto.

It is possible that everyone has something they like that brings out their inner child...ice cream cones, bicycles, swimming pools, etc. For me it an online game called, "Jet Slalom". It is one of many things that makes me feel like a little girl again. When I want to unwind after a long day, it helps me relax. This game is addictive! If you are interested you will find it at www.bonus.com and click "Play", then "Treasure Chest" and then "Favorites". Life can be very serious for all of us each day...a playful attitude can make you feel like a kid again...try it once in a while. ~ Lily
