WHITE WOMEN AND BLACK MEN: CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN BLACK MEN AND WHITE WOMEN: Women In War

Ms. Ishvara last night I looked into the face of my princess. I realize that if this country goes to war in a meaningful way than its the women and children who are to be protected. However I think now if the draft ever comes back it is time for women to be drafted too. On the issue of women being raped in war. The more I think about it the more I realize that women who go into military service and know that its possible that they may be raped in war as well as killed has more courage than men. A man not fearing sexual assualt is more open to the thought of being killed only. A woman has to fear both. But she goes anyway.

Ms. Ishvara I think the reason you have not heard of men being raped as prisoner of war is because in the past any reference to homosexual activity was forbidden and kept under the rug. On the issue of why we did not hear about the gang rape of the female prisoners of war in Desert Storm is because of the protection of the reputation of the women involved. One woman was a pilot who would admit to the rape years later and a enlisted woman who by the way to my surprise is married a black man. Islamic cultures subjugate women. Women in those countries are lower than a mule. Perhaps american women who enter military service and eventually end up in that part of the world will again be prisoners and raped. This is a fact of war. The question is will american society tolerate its women being violated in war. Western women especially white women from what I hear are prized as victims for rape in third world countries. It has been said that islamic fighters in war would fight harder if they knew they were fighting against women as what the Israeli army found out years ago when they allowed women to fight in their army. The Arabs fought the Israeli forces with a fury that astounished them when the Arabs found out they were fighting against women.

Definite issue. Not sure where I stand on this, as far as women in combat situations, however, I know that they'd have to kill me before I submitted, cause F*** them! It makes me want to get a gun and go hunting....hehehehe. Seriuously though, don't some cultures do that to men as a way of intimidation? And why haven't I heard anything about gang rapes in the Gulf, you'd think some nosy reporting agency would have sunk there teeth in that long ago.

I had an interesting conversation today at a recruiter office that was told to me that the fear in the service is having women fight in foreign islamic countries who will be ganged raped as prisoners of war. A sergeant major told me that in Desert Storm the women who were captured by the Iraqi soilders were ganged raped but that the media and pentagon tried to hide this fact. The belief is that women organizations have suppressed this information in fear of a backlash against women in the military services. In the ranger, green beret and seal units women would destroy the cohesion of these unit for fear that their capture by an enemy would hamper the american male in worrying about the woman. Ladies what do you think?
