WHITE WOMEN AND BLACK MEN: CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN BLACK MEN AND WHITE WOMEN: The Silent Double Standard

Snook,
I am not judging you, but I am curious. Where did you find in the christian life that being revengeful and loving only certain people was right? According to christianity, one who does not love his/her fellow human being(bad or good, black or white , rich or poor)but says they love God, is a lier. Look it up. Either you are a christian or you are not. But as a christian, there are some main tenets to being one and LOVE IS NUMERO UNO. Where also did God state that we should laugh at those whose fate will be eternal damnation? That is wrong and sad if you think that is right behavior. Patience, tolerance and love are essentials to the christian walk with God. God, through Jesus, gave us the example of having patience and tolerance for our sins, so much so, that he has not destroyed us now in world where bad and evil are seen as good. Read the gospels again and see what things need fine tuning for you. It will help you in a more faithful walk with the Lord.

To everyone,
I did not mean to offend anybody, but anybody with any education knows that an n does not respresent color. it has to do with ignorance and stupidity. it has to do with the character of the person (or lack thereof). it has nothing to do with color. a white person can be an n and a black person can be, also. my fiance and i talk about this and i am not a racial person. i have never seen color in my life, even though i was taught by my parents to see it and hate it. i am a much better person than they will ever be. i love most people (i cant say all or else i'd be lying to myself and everybody else, even God). i just have no patience or tolerance for ignorant, frigged up, stupid ass people. they will go down, either here on this earth (preferable) or on judgement day (also good news to us sane, decent people out there). they will answer to God and i will laugh in their face when they do!!! i am one of God's peacemakers, a true Christian on the inside. i know what is right and wrong behavior. i know my duty as a person and as an elect from God. i will not have to answer to God for i am doing his/her work here and now on this earth.

I had lunch with Buck O'Neil several weeks ago at a local community college with a group of people who are involved in the Student Leadership Institute. Buck O 'Neil is one member of the Negro League Kansas City Monarchs baseball team. During lunch, I asked him who had inspired him the most in his life and had the best enfluence on him. I wanted to know and said "Who is your role model"? "My Father!", he said "had the most profound enfluence on me. Kids today should not hold sports idols as their role models. Their role models should be their mother and father". He said his Dad was a beautiful big black man who taught him the importance of good values and loving one another. Just thought I would share this with you all.

snookette-
i hope i read your post wrong, maybe it was a type-o, i am giving you the benefit of the doubt. did you mean to type that "puffy is a stupid "n". if you meant it, girl you need to grow up and get some respect! what were you thinking when you decided to use the letter "n", (short for nigger), to describe a black man. i wonder, what is your intelligence level? who the hell do you think you are? sweetie, i don't know where you come from, but if you got caught talking like that where i'm from, people would treat you as dirty as your little mouth. you keep talking like that and someday, somewhere, somebody is going to teach you a lesson and give you a slice of reality to big for you to chew. check yourself, little girl, before someone sets you straight.

Snookette,

What is your point? I strongly beleive he is guilty too and I could careless about Puffy. They did a crime they should be punished. But what is the point? Many men and women do the crimes--whatever color they are and get off. Look at Bernard Goetz, or NY police officers or the cops in LA.
There is not double standard, except when it comes to class discrimination. Look at Clinton's Pardon of the Rich SOB! While not pardoning leonard peltier. Stopping poor drivers, white or black or hispanic, and not middle class and rich drivers.
Who cares about OJ? He will get it in the end to be sure. I am not concerned with him, but regular ordinary Americans being taken by the government and big business.

To whoever reads this,
I strongly believe that OJ is GUILTY!! So does my dark black fiance. Why did he run? Everything points to him as Guilty. The only reason he got off is because he has lots of money and is an Uncle Tom who cried "White! I'm really White!". Same thing with Puffy. He should have been thrown in the slammer with a gun to kill himself because somebody else will kill him if he doesnt do it first! He is a stupid n and will end up like 2pac and Biggy if he turns his back for one miniscle millisecond.

Thanx,
Peace Outtie 5000!
