Perry Reveals Plan For Total U.S. Anarchy: ‘Put A Moratorium On All Regulations’
By Brad Johnson on Aug 15, 2011 at 5:33 pm

Today, Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) issued the first policy position of his presidential campaign by asking the White House to issue a “moratorium on regulations across this country”:
We’re calling today on the president of the United States to put a moratorium on regulations across this country, because his regulations, his EPA regulations are killing jobs all across America.

“We’re sending out a request today asking President Obama to put a moratorium on all regulations,” Perry said on WHO radio in Iowa, recorded live by ThinkProgress.
Under such a moratorium, the Food and Drug Administration would stop approving new drugs and preventing human experimentation; the USDA would stop checking for food safety; the EPA would stop monitoring for poisons in drinking water; the Library of Congress would stop loaning materials to blind people; the NTSB would stop investigating airplane accidents; HHS would end Medicare payments; no more patents, copyrights, or trademarks would be issued; DHS would stop protecting chemical facilities from terrorist attacks; the Treasury would stop printing currency; financial sanctions on hostile nations like North Korea and Iran would end; and the Federal Reserve System would shut down.
Perry’s “moratorium on regulations” would mean a literal end to the rules of law in the United States. At least it would also mean that all of President George W. Bush’s midnight regulations favoring polluters and industry abuses would also be lifted.
    UPDATE
Perry is taking a more strident stand than the one his staff has prescribed for him on his website, a “six-month freeze on new federal regulations.” Such a freeze would prevent everything from science-based standards for smog pollution to approval of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.

You're good with words. Care to speak more on Perry? Or should I give you a dirty visual?

There's a lot that could be said about bitchass Perry, but I don't feel like wasting the energy. The "dirty visual" is unnecessary, but thanks for offering.

What did I tell you about becoming a stand up comedian? Do I have to go Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor on you?

I already told you when you accused me of going Richard Pryor on folks, I don't have the skills to do stand up comedy. If you want to go Eddie Murphy or Richard Pryor, go for it.

:p After that stint between you and Phoenix Sosa, I think it's now time for you to get on stage, and crack them crackers dead! Ya crazy white honky bitch! (Richard Pryor said this).

You don't want to wish Richard Pryor on her. Multiple Sclerosis sucks.

And if Tam doesn't like performing in public, she's not going to want to do stand up. But she could WRITE for a comic. ;-)

LOL...yeah, that was interesting wasn't it? Even after that, this crazy white honky bitch still doesn't think she's skilled enough for stand up. :p

That's definitely something Richard Pryor had that I wouldn't want.

I'd probably have to be extremely drunk to perform in public, & I haven't been at that level of drunkenness since I was 19 & partying at school. Writing comedy is cool though. I've never written jokes for anyone, but I've written short plays, skits & parodies in the past.

Looking at what TreePixie wrote, Tammy...it's not a bad idea! If not stand-up, then how about your own sitcom on BET? It'll make the network more credible and...you'll definitely get the hell out of that rag town of a place. Besides, how many times do you have to go through the world of Jethros before you crack and snap a redneck into two?

Pixie and I will further discuss this and see if we can conjure up a pilot.

I'd love to see some of your work actually. I'm pretty interested on what goes on in Tammy's mind. You say you're a pervert...but I don't believe it until I see it myself. :smt053

I haven't shared much of what I've written with very many people. Of course, I haven't been writing much in years either. I've also written other things over the years...poetry, short stories (horror, erotica, comedy), articles, essays, etc. In school I actually enjoyed writing research papers. When I was in high school, I did a few writing competitions & actually placed on occasion.

As far as my mind goes, it works in strange ways & I do have a twisted, vivid imagination. When it comes to the pervy material, I typically only share it with the special someone who inspired it.

I'm really intrigued and you know...you could get them published and build a little business there. I know you rather keep them personal and only share it with those you love deeply, but truth be told, it would definitely propel you to new heights in the literature industry. :)

The Republican offerings in the upcoming Presidential election play like a skit on Saturday Night Live. Who would ever think to create caricatures like Bachmann, Perry and Row.

As for Perry, he has his own issues among the conservatives, especially after his latest comments regarding Ben Bernanke. For that misstep, he was criticized by Karl Rove, former Chief Strategist for G.W. Bush, and others.

Let us not forget that many of the Republicans regard him as equally undesirable because he's a former Democrat, he also changed positions on immigration and advocated the succession of Texas.
