Good for him. Piece of time the only thing a black man ran for in Mississippi was his life.

 

I'm glad to see that. However, it bears little significance given that he's just as conservative as his GOP opponent. The only differing areas would be healthcare and how it should be handled. This won't really break racial grounds, but it will minutely decrease the awful history of Mississippi.

I still shudder when I travel there.

 

Kid,he lost. That is Mississippi and that voter ID passed as well. It would take a while since the state has a bad rep on voting rights.

 

At least the "Personhood" Amendment didn't win.
