man freed after 25 years of a crime he didnt commit

    Yes. He is lucky with it being in Texas, he wasn't put to death. They like to kill people there. :(

    I don't know if I'd be happy or miserable. Being free, but not after have 25 years stolen from me.

    District attorneys in Texas are eager to throw everyone who has the misfortune of being a murder defendant in that state under a prison.

    I couldn't even imagine that.

    Remember seeing a similar story on Investigation Discovery where a similar thing happened, but in that case two lawyers of the actual perpetrator of the crime knew from the beginning, but didn't say anything at the time because of attorney/client privilege confidentiality.

    So all that time an innocent man was sitting in jail and they knew. Fucked up.
