Requirements of BM by WW for dating

I'm new here, can someone enlighten me to an obvious problem I have in reading some of the personals I have read here and at other IR sites...

Why is it that a good majority of WW always say in their profile that they are seeking a BM, mixed race, or hispanic, that have to be..
A few I have seen

1. Have a job, clean and discreet
2. dental hygeine a plus
3. Intelligent, hard working
4. hold a decent conversation

I don't know if the same requirements are made of WM but it just seems that in order to be considered you have to meet these requirements are BM all dirty? have bad teeth/breath lazy, dumb???.. what are they really looking for?, I realize everyone has their own preferences but comon......

To be perfectly honest, I am pickier with white men. Black is my preference so for me to go outside of it takes someone who meets stricter standards.

It is possiable that for women who prefer white men to have the same in reverse.

I think people are here for various reasons... Some for something deep and some for meat.

 

I wonder if any man fits that strict a profile! How ridiculous...I mean, a girl has a right to be picky, but seriously, that's a bit much. Sounds like the kind of woman who will be stroking her 3 cats in her rocking chair the rest of her days.

 

I don't think this woman is asking for too much if she has qualities that are in high demand. What if her requirements are just as high for a man of any race?

To be honest, my requirements are similar. There's a few that do not bother me and a couple that I would require in the reverse and even a couple more that I would add.

I meet men that meet, and most often exceed, my requirements and are pleased to meet me and what I have to offer.

 

We all have standards but this seems more like a shopping list to me.
I've never done "personals dating" so I assume you need to list all that comes to mind but in the world of person to person dating, I've found that the "list" is more fluid and less static.

Oh, we are quite familiar with those types of ads in here, and the best thing to do is to ignore them, or else they'll keep popping up in the Personals...

I think some of you men underestimate what "super man" qualities you have. What has this woman listed that several of the men here are not?!? I do think her emphasis on oral skills should be coupled with some description of what skills she has.

 

Despite their "willingness" to date black men, their overall impression of black men remains negative, perhaps even more negative than women who never have dated a black man in their life (afterall, these women can claim to have "real experience" in dating black men so would feel more qualified to make such generalizations about black men being dirty, lazy, brash, etc)

Also, the white women who mention their attraction to black men in casual conversation are often times convinced of their coveted status...

Well, I do think that some men on this site do have those qualities and more. I guess the problem is how the list was constructed. I mean, I expect any self respected woman to have a list of what she wants in a man. What I don't expect is to see is a grocery list. It just doesn't seem classy that way. Moreover, any fool can respond to her e-mail claiming to have those qualities.

In terms of the actual qualities, I don't think she is asking for too much. I just think it would be weird if I made a post about wanting a woman with 34C breasts, nice firm ass, green eyes, beautiful smile, athletic body, great communications skills blah blah blah. Those requirements aren't outrageous (quite simple actually) but the fact that I made it into a list should make you ask who the hell do I think I am.

You are right. If that was her ad in entirety she's not making a very effective sale. A man with desirable qualities wants a woman with desirable qualities. What does she have to offer???

Out of curiosity, did she include a picture? No picture, no description of her qualities, and demanding expectations - she will be at home stroking her cats.

I am near. I go to the city often (at least 2-3 times a month) to visit friends or for business.

My yahoo im is lainarain1 if you would like to be persuaded that the city's not so bad. Segregated, yes. But it does have some redeeming features.
