The man that will love me
loves Allah first
and reads his Qur’an
so he knows my worth

He will understand
what it means
to be a Muslim man
not just what he sees
on TV

He won’t disrespect me
that’s not even a possibility
He will provide for me
because that’s his responsibility

He appreciates my level of modesty,
talks to me softly,
and looks into my eyes
so I know his words
come honestly

Leaving me sure
of what I must do
and allowing me
to give new meaning to
throwing it back on my man
not in the physical

listen and understand
cuz I’ll be throwing back

respect
cuz he deserves it

trust
cuz he’ll earn it

time
cuz he reserves it

and my mind
cuz he’ll learn it

That man that will love me
is in for a treat
cuz I don’t mind learning
and sitting at his feet

I’m vicious in the kitchen
and my love is supreme
That man that will love me
has found a Muslim queen.
