I'm just a black kid from the South...

And today after grinding hard in the tech field I got a LARGE job offer I could only imagine I'd get when I was losing more hair in my late 30s.

I just got a 6 figure opportunity for a job more or less what I do now. My current role isn't paying me much and I kinda hate where I live so at least this will give me opportunity to move + help my family out like they helped me in the past.

Thanks guys! It is a work from home job meaning remote. I may just become a digital nomad for a while haha. I'm excited though!

I work from home 2 days a week and I'm trying to make it 100%. You lucky dog! lol

 

Working from home can be a great thing. You do have to be really good with your time management and it can be easy to become isolated. But I think those are easy things to keep in line.

 

Verbally accepted. Gave me a slight increase in salary and lowered the bonus structure for me which I wanted. Also they gave me a signing bonus to cover some loss of stock and a bonus I was getting so I'm happy.
