I remember Red Dwarf. It was the first British sitcom that I saw that had a black main cast member. I saw it on a PBS station out of Gainesville(WUFT). I didn't quite understand it. But it had some funny bits, as most British comedies are.

How many episodes until Kara and James break up? I give it 4.

Just watched the first episode of Luke Cage. Not great, but not bad either. So far, about what I expected. It's a Netflix show so I realize its not going to be paced the same as network shows. It should kick into high gear arounf the fourth or fith episode.

There was enough there to keep me watching, though. I'm laid up all weekend so this will be the perfect time to get into it. Plus, my girl is gone for a few days so I can watch it un-interrupted.

I hope they knock it out of the park. We need a black male, superhero show. If this does well, we can look forward to more.

I've seen cosplayers with higher quality costumes than the CW's.

Just saw the first episode, I too will be watching over the weekend in between football games. I'll finish the rest up next week. Good first episode, but I'm wondering if they'll give CottonMouth his abilities. I hope so that will complete the character who Mahershala Ali is award worthy at.

It's time to wrap it up: Alice is returning back to Raccoon City in the final installment in the series.

A lot of people don't like this franchise. But, I enjoy the films for what they are; big, dumb, stylized action.

Plus, I never really got into the games, so I have nothing to compare it to. To me, they're doing the same thing that Znation would later go on to do. Just with a bigger budget.

That's pretty much how I saw the Resident Evil films. Just good old fashioned entertainment that isn't boring.

I think people just bandwagon hate for movies based off of videogames. A lot are bad but not outright terrible.

Not a fan of Luke cage.....
    I'm saying it.

    Let the disgust start.

It just doesn't mix well with me.. I realize that it is close to the material but I expect something not so close to Blaxploitation. I'm only half way through so lets give it some time.

    too much buck wild

I like the series, but the storyline could use a little tightening up.
