And IR entry level dudes stay doing retarded shit like this & will continue to do it like it's major shit. Nothing new on this site. That's why they will more than likely always be nothing but entry level when it comes to IR relationships.

I've mentioned that flick years ago. However,I did not know she had a child from Weathers. I learn something every day.

I can't believe people aren't posting more in this thread

There's been speculation that the relationship between the two would be buddy-buddy with no real attraction, but I guess these pics can put that to rest

Hollywoods taking a big chance putting a movie like this out, lol

There are anti interracialists on both sides of the fence

Good trailer but,the devil are in the details. It remains to be seen if homeboy would do a great love scene.

I don't recall any such speculation that the two would be more buddy-buddy. The reports were they were sticking by the original script and the intended relationship between the two.

That said the trailer looks fantastic, and not because it show a BM/WW pairing. The damn thing was just edited and put together well. Plus the storyline seems intriguing if not a little bit conventional.

Is Hollywood taking a big chance? Yes and no. Yes, in that Hollywood doesn't go there in terms of pairings. No, in that it is way overdue and many in this country are beyond such nonsense.

That being said it still cracks me up seeing some comments on message boards or YouTube by black women of all people who are not feeling this" and are going to stay away. They are doing their typical crying that it is so typical for Will to be paired with a white woman. Really? When was the other time Smith was paired with a white woman? And don't give me that "hancock" nonsense because that movie really ripped out the romantic angle of the original script. So once again there is a group of black women (and some other folks) who are so paranoid and insecure regarding putting a BM and a WW in a relationship at the center of the film, that they start conjuring up countless imaginary films in which such pairings have happened before. Just ridiculous. Anyone who has spend time reading some of the gripes on this board can attest that such pairings simply don't get shown much at all in mainstream movies, and certainly not so in the forefront.

The irony is that many of those ladies who are bitching probably went out to see "Addicted" this weekend after watching this week's episode of "Scandal" for the 100th time. The frequent and increasing pairing of white men and black women is good to go (they're probably "feeling that"), but turn it around on the rare occasion and all of a sudden they are asking where are the black romances on the screen? Laughable. They only care about so-called black romances when they see their fave black actors romantically involved on screen with white chicks. Outside of that they don't give a damn about black romances, especially not when they can see black women paired with some "fine ass" white dude.

The movie websites are all praising the trailer and the chemistry between Will and Margot. Twitter for the most part is very positive. The problem you will run into are some message board talk and YouTube comments. All of a sudden it is absurd that the film would pair a 46 year old man with a 24 year old woman (as if this doesn't happen all the time). It's too "meh" for some folks. Too unoriginal (as if ANYTHING coming out of Hollywood these days is original). Oh, and here is the key comment to look for for those with an agenda : "I don't see any chemistry between them". That's the favorite line used by anyone on the internet regarding BM/WW onscreen pairings when they want to hide that the real reason is simply they are against (or uncomfortable with) such pairings.

If this movie is any good it may take my money a couple of times at least. And any self-respecting black straight black man who chooses to not support it because they are in solidarity with their beautiful black sistas or because they are too timid to try to convince their black girlfriends/black wives to see it with them might as well hand over their balls. They are a disgrace. Those same ladies probably force them to re-watch "The Bodyguard" every so often.

In the end if the film is good I think it has a chance of making a lot of money. After all not all black women are hypocritical idiots. Black dudes are drawn to Will/Denzel flicks. Plenty of white people are open-minded enough about it to counter the white people who will stay away. His panics don't give a damn about this particular racial politics and as a group Hispanics may now be the most important moviegoers. And Asian people aren't hung up on this issue.

Not to forget Will Smith is still beloved within all of those racial groups. And Margot Robbie has developed a pretty big following of young, horny men of all races who are ready to see her in something new. And that's no surprise. She is one of the few leading Hollywood actresses with definite sex appeal. She's not cute like Emma Stone; she's not plucky like Julia Roberts back in the day, she's, she's not wholesome and sweet like Sandra Bulloch, she's not fragile thing like Gwyneth Paltrow back when she was at her height. Margot Robbie instead is hooooottttt! Guys see her on the screen and imagine themselves being lucky enough to have sex with her. That's the definition of an old school sex symbol. When was the last leading lady who could do that for the masses? Megan Fox? Fox wasn't much on an actress and wasn't getting much note work outside of Transformers flicks. Perhaps Jennifer Lopez for a minute. Maybe Halle Berry. Maybe. A young Catherinze Zeta Jones was definitely up there. Anyway Margot got "it" as they say.

That's not make or break moment to me. If there is heavy kissing and ripping off of clothes but we don't see them roll in the hay, well, it ain't the end of the world. Besides Hollywood doesn't do great love scenes anyway.

Yeah I seen one comment from someone who wanted will paired with a black woman, followed by another poster who promptly tells them to shut up and watch scandal

LOL! Great. If there's any justice a black male or a white female wrote that. Again I'm hoping there are so many various groups of people not bothered by any of this that the film makes load of cash even without the support of a large chunk of black females. Will is one of the few black performers who don't have to cater so strictly to the whims and demands of black audiences.

Oh, and how could I forget Scarlett Johansson when referencing actresses with big time sex appeal in my earlier post? Or Eva Green?

JS,that is one of the reasons Tyler Perry blew up as big as he did. I just want the brothers who have that strong buying power to have more IR on the screen.

It is a slick trailer. Alex Hitchins has joined Danny Ocean's group(not really). I see some shades of Bad Company(with Laurence Fishburne and Ellen Barkin). I hope it will show more of the relationship between these two people. But, you know how it is; like Prizzi's Honor, there will be betrayal on both sides and someone's going to get hurt(or killed).

If I were to make one complaint, it would be this; why are black male protagonists often cast as sophisticated con men or ne'er do wells. Can't black male protagonists be heroes like Morgan Freeman's portrayal of James Patterson's Alex Cross? Maybe, it is the fact that they are cast as anti-heroes. But, I think that anti-heroes are overused, imho.

As to black female protests; don't read or read into them. Jada(Will's wife) did a show called Hawthorne in which she has a ir with ALIAS' Eddie(I think that is his first name) Vartan and Will was the executive producer on that show.

Lastly, I like the hammer and nail analogy line.

That was real fly wasn't it?

I'd like to echo the other posters on YouTube by stating that there needs to be a bad boys 3

I think there will be a third film somewhere down the road if Jerry Bruckheimer were at the helm.

    Lol.

My bet is that there is no actual love scene and it probably passes the bill because the black guy is a criminal (not a CEO or such).

Unfortunately, I'm probably stating the obvious for most lol

Typical shit, but it will be different one day, I know it. Whether it comes when we all are back brown, or before somehow. You can't keep slappin someone in the face without getting pummeled, eventually everyone fights back.

Anyway the movie looks good, I'll be there.
