Back in the days of AOL chat room chatting, I've chatted with two racists. One was white and the other was Asian. The white man came into the chat room spouting off his racist views. I asked him what his problem with interracial dating and marriage. He kept saying the same thing about how black men should be with black women and stay way from white women. I pressed him a little bit more and he then revealed that his wife had left him for a black man. He blamed the break-up on black men and he was upset about it. I apologized and told him that I wasn't interested in breaking up relationships between husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend. He calmed down and it became clear that all his bantering was a call for help , as well as attention. He was looking for someone to talk to.

The Asian man was a little more direct. He kept calling me "black man." He tried to steer me away from my interest in Asian women. He kept saying that they were too materialistic and not interested in black men. Our chat ended. But it was civil.

Chatting with racists is a waste of time because they're not going to change their views even if one shows him or her that they are not the example of what they believe to be true in their views of people.

 

I don't see anything wrong with being "racist" when it comes to the dating world. It is that persons absolute right to date and disqualify whomever they please for whatever reason.

If dating who you want is racist, then nearly this whole damn website is racist.
