If Your Friend Married A Pornstar, Is It Disrespectfull To Watch The Movie?

So, a buddy of mine married a porn actress. Not a big one but she's done a few of them. They met at the Bunny Ranch of all places. Now, she no longer lives that life, is a stay at home mom and by all acounts a good wife.

I think it's wrong to watch the movie. She doesn't get down like that anymore and would rather put that chapter of her life behind her. One of my other friends (whose actually a closer friend to the guy who married her than I am) thinks there is nothing wrong with looking at her scenes. He's like it's out there, might as well look.

If she were still doing it, or they were just dating, I wouldn't care. I'd look. Fuck it. But, seeing as she has chosen a different life now and is married to our boy, I feel it's disrespectful to our friendship with him.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. My friend's friend is in porn, and she gave out the codes to watch her stuff for free online. lol. Granted, she's still in "the profession," but still. I don't think there is anything wrong with her "past," so I don't see how watching her old stuff would be disrespectful. Unless you think that porn is a bad thing, or that your friend should be ashamed for marrying her. It is what it is. If she was a regular actress, would you want to watch her previous movies?

 

If you marry a pornstar you should assume everyone has already seen her naked, it comes with the territory. I wouldn't watch it, but I wouldn't see it as disrespectful for his other friends to watch. Of course they shouldn't discuss it to others.

 

If you marry a porn star, you should have known that from jumpstreet before you even dated her. I think that it is not wrong to look at her previous films. Charlie Sheen dated a lot of porno stars. Actors Kelsey Grammer and Richard Mulligan were both married to the same woman who was a porn star(I think her name was Rachel Ryan). Actor Miguel Ferrer(Robocop) was married to a porn star. Actress Lisa Loring married a porn star. I have no doubt that they saw the movies before or during the marriage. I am sure that they knew what it was when they got together(if she is still active in porn). As to her being out of porn, I am sure that out of respect to her, I wouldn't bring it up if she is trying to get away from that part of her past. But, here again, is(and I will keep saying it) where communication and honesty come into play. Secrets damage relationships.

Also, does he know 'ftr' that you have no interest in watching them, or do you just not talk at all about her past 'life'.
