    Was it racists for the GMA host say colored people when discussing an issue of movie roles?

    She is talking about an industry where they can hire people off of race alone.
    Got to say got more of a problem with that than her antiquated term for minority.

    And there is your problem we have here, more people have a problem with those that make mistakes than those that are doing it on purpose.

    Nailed it.

    I saw this and thought she meant to say people of color instead of colored people.

    It's like there are millions of people who go through life waiting to be pissed off.

    Agreed, its always good to be vigilant when it comes to the media and race, but I think this particular instance is much ado about nothing, especially since she apologized. If there was some kind of pattern or prior bad acts I would see it different, but from what I can tell she just used the wrong term, no malicious intent.
