I'm afraid I'm not very tech savvy. We could exchange phone numbers if that is not a problem
I have to figure out what time I could call you.

Have you used it? I had people at work ask me about it, but I hadn't used it since all of my friends/relatives (that I know of) are here in the states and Canada/

Probably not because I am on my brother's family phone plan. I guess I have to get a.phone card.

Yeah i only use it. When you call overseas it's just like normal. Not distorted or anything. It's good.

Might as well G. I use Tracphone. Might had to buy a new phone to use that Whatsapp.

Hmmm. Sounds like an idea. When i was in Toronto last month... I had planned to add international service to my phone, but thankfully my job provided it for my work cell phone. Saved me a few $$$

what s app calls are free, that s what they say. but only if you use it on a flat line. if you have a volume limitage it can get costly once your limit is used. at least i heard that. the quality of the calls varies. i d still prefer skype. they added encryption to whats app lately, but i m still not sure how data safe it is now.

Interesting... .i use it all the time. But then i am on pre paid but it's never chewed my credit calling out. But yeah you're right Skype is probably the better option...i got it but never use it lol.

After reading this thread I am looking forward to my trip down under even moreso. It is my bucket list trip and I had been putting it off for years and years and I finally said that to myself I am taking it after a friend from work could not shut up about his trip.

So I will be touring and exploring for about 3 weeks and I am so looking forward to it.
