    Did anyone catch Gael Monfils dismantling Pavic in Croatia the day before yesterday? Epic, and in straight sets.

    Now Monfils is struggling against Isner. What is he doing? Duval just lost after an amazing first round, and Dutra Silva is going down against Rafa in the second set.

    I've got to vent somewhere: is anyone else as disappointed in Monfils' performance today? He rallied and nearly sent Andy Murray home today and then fell apart in the fifth set amid a flurry of errors. So disappointed...

    That's why I'm so pissed. He was focused, rallied and battled back to take it to a fifth set and then promptly imploded. He wasn't doing any of that Yannick Noah between the legs stuff, either. That's what had me thinking he was focused. And especially after my boy Tsonga got knocked off so readily in straight sets by Djokovic. Oh well, congrats to Rafa for another victory.
