Have you ever seen Near Dark?

 

Yeah. Very underrated movie compared to other 80's vampire movies like Lost Boys and Fright Night. The vampires not being classic fang bearing types may have something to do with it's underrated status.

 

I'm not familiar with it. I'll have to look it up.

I missed battlefield earth but i heard it was really bad

 

Finally ready to actually rank my favorite 5 hip hop artists IN ORDER.

1.) NAS: The GOAT. No doubt about it. Great storyteller. Plenty of depth, and endlessly clever with the different types of songs and wordplay.

2.) PAC: The most versatile. He has a song for every occasion and emotion. Whether its fear, anger, despair, excitement, joy, compassion, lighthearted, serious, motivational or political. PAC mastered it with great delivery.

3.) Scarface: Even I underated him. I always give him an honorable mention, but damn.....this is mostly what I've been listening to lately. The music is timeless. The best storyteller out there and although he is versatile his g music is straight fire.

4.) Big L: had raw talent, the best freestyle ever and the best punchlines in the industry. Storytelling was on point too. "Casualties of a dice game" is one of the most vivid hip hop stories ever told.

5.) Biggie: Great story teller with great delivery and style. Almost all of his songs can take you back to a point in time because they were both mainstream and hot, a very unusual combination.
