    I haven't been able to watch more than a few minutes of a single episode. It looks pretty interesting, though, from what I can gather. Besides, I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek so this should be good.

    I love it!!!!!:smt081 That is exactly how I feel like having to wait, what - 6 mo in total (?) to get to to the rest of it. I dont want to read the books before hand but I may just do what DK is doing and start reading them.

    If you don't like spoilers then don't read the books until after each season is done. Read the first book since the first season is done but don't read the second book or any of the ones after. If you absolutely have to know ahead of time what's to come then by all means read the books. I know what's coming since I had the opportunity to read the first four books since they came out prior to production of the TV series. I haven't read the fifth book, which is the most recent to come out, yet. I'm waiting for it to come out in paperback edition before I read it.

    Didn't mess up Harry Potter or Lord of The Rings for me. I read Hunger Games can't wait for the movie.

    It's both fun and interesting to read a book series and then get to see how characters, locations & situations match up on the small or big screen compared to how you pictured them when reading.
