Eiffel 65 is a three man (Gianfranco Randone, Maurizio Lobina, and Gabriele Ponte) Italian eurodance group. Best know for their international hit "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" Eiffel 65's debut album "Europop" sold over two million units in the US, making them the best selling Italian eurodance group ever in the United States. The origin of the group's name is an interesting sequence of chance. The name "Eiffel" was chosen randomly by a computer program and the "65" was scribbled onto their name on a demo by mistake; it was actually part of a phone number. The group Eiffel 65 is also known for their many remixes of songs from other artists, with over thirty of them to their name.

I posted this in another thread, and later discovered *this* section..so I'll do a re-post *here*, as i deem this fiefdom more appropriate for this sort of music.

All pertinent factoids and such regarding The SADISTIC MIKA BAND you should know from said *prior* post.

I loved the songs of the late Miriam Makeba. Pata pata comes to mind.

May I add steelband music which is common to parts of the Caribbean.

    YEAH!!!!
I love Hilife! It makes you happy and I cant sit still..
When I lived home on Stockholm, we use to to go to Hilife clubs all the time.
People barely drank there but it used to get crazy. People would just hop up on stage and eventually it was usually about 50 people crowded up there:)
Sometimes I dont kno whow they played as crowded as it got....
My friend taught me how to dance the Ethiopian way - the shoulder dancing stuff.... We had so much fun! Good times, good times.
