This generation is way too scared to have its feelings hurt. I'm not saying you in particular but the parents have made these kids pussies. They are too afraid to try but feel everything is coming to them. Its sad but these hard times will breed a stronger and smarter generation. I am so uncharacteristically optimistic right now.

 

Since I see so much of that in this generation, I think it's not *just* parents...but I had a thought. These kids grew up during the Clinton administration, not their teen years, but their childhoods. Things were pretty good then, and maybe they got the idea that things were easier in the world than they actually are. During that administration, I tripled my income, for instance, because the tech boom made people like me invaluable. (Of course, later we got treated like shit, but I'm talking those years).
