[OFFICIAL] Indie Games Thread

With many great console and PC games, you cannot help but wonder why many of them are getting too costly. Obviously development and newer technology are the primary reasons why the budgets for games and systems are much more expensive. And yet, looking at this reality, what can be done to supplement our time until the next big game comes out? Well, this is where indie games come in.

There are a plethora of Indie Games that come out online, most are free and few where you pay a small fee ($10 maximum). Also, with the most advanced technology, you're able to play numerous games which hearkens back to the good old 8-bit and 16-bit days. Whether they are on social networking sites or on sites which are exclusively game-based, you will no doubt appreciate some of the content provided. So in this respect, I'll be posting links to games that you may enjoy.

The Witch's House

SYNOPSIS: Perhaps the most unusual indie that came out in recent times. The dynamic gameplay element lies within sound. As you see now, this game requires voice and the higher pitch the voice, the balloon will go upward, so you're free to talk your ass off to score some good points in this puzzler here.

 

I'll give you credit for a good thread even though I will never go back to 2-d gaming(excluding super mario world)
