    Well IDK if playing a cop is a positive any more.

    Plus he was a drug-dealing shakedown corrupt cop (and Belushi was a murdering one).

    Plus it was called GANG-RELATED.

    So there you have the synopsis for my "oh wait".

    Then there was Mos Def in Something The Lord Made and the actor who played the gay cop in Six Feet Under. Alex Desert in the 1990's The Flash.

    When Ice-T played Scotty Appleton on New Jack City, his fans thought he betrayed them. But when he played the gangster in Ricochet, he fell back into their favor. And he even won over critics.
