I got no problem with people taking opposing views on subjects, but at least acknowledge the endless studies and surveys that prove racism and bias exists within multiple systems

It makes me sick to see blacks who never address what's going on, as if it doesn't matter because they feel safe

What's even worse is knowing that they will benefit from the labors of social warriors, when they were a part of the problem

Staying neutral on matters of race makes you complicit as fuck

How can the North Miami Beach police even defend this? :smt017

    ********

Miami cops caught using photos of black teens for shooting practice after family of spots his bullet-ridden mugshot at a gun range

Members of the North Miami Beach Police have been caught using photos of actual black teenagers for target practice.

This was discovered during an incident last month when Sgt. Valerie Deant showed up at the Medley Firearms Training Center after members of the department had been practicing, and recognized one of their targets - a mugshot of her brother from when he was just 18-years-old.

The other targets were also black men, and some too just teenagers - and now the department is defending their practice.

Her brother Woody, who was arrested for drag racing in 2000 and is now married with children, was just as shocked and angry, noting; 'The picture actually has like bullet holes. One in my forehead and one in my eye. …I was speechless.'

North Miami Beach Police Chief J. Scott Dennis says there is nothing wrong with this practice at all however, and even defends its use.

'Our policies were not violated,' Dennis said.

'There is no discipline forthcoming from the individuals who were involved with this.'

Dennis said it is common practice to use actual mugshots, and members of the same ethnic group help with facial recognition exercises.

NBC 6 Investigators spoke with both federal and state law enforcement agencies, as well as five local police departments, and they all said they use commercially produced targets for shooting practice, and never mugshots of actual people.

Dennis does say however that he regrets the usage of a mugshot of an actual Miami resident.

Woody Deant seems to feel the same.

'Now I’m being used as a target?' he said.

'I’m not even living that life according to how they portrayed me as. I’m a father. I’m a husband. I’m a career man. I work 9-to-5.'

He then added that this make the streets feel anything but safe for him in his community.

'Automatically in his [cop's] mind he’s going to think target, target, target.'

I posted something like this. At least, they charged him.
getting silly up here. I remember a UK officer had to deal with a man with a 10 in knife. no gun!!!! He took out his taser and subdued the man. Over here, a 33 year old man can't even chase after a 50 something year old man without killing him. The man needs to be placed in regular prison. Let the inmates save tax payer money.

Be careful with your last line, Samson and Since will have your head.

I thought the same thing Arch...why didnt this cop chase him?? Or fire a warning shot telling him to freeze?
No...again...what happened to chasing a suspect? How did he fear for his life here? No turned around and charged him aka Mike Brown. He was running away!

Lazy cop pulls his gun instead. Well now look.... he took a life and he's going to jail.

Same here but that's how they do it in UK. fearless over there.
Over here, a man running away from you is cause to fear for your life.

People have been saying cops have been shooting at citizens with their backs turned...now there's video

..unless of course they 'can't believe their lying eyes'

I'm not taking any chances with that...then you got pcp or that new drug and I don't know how tasers work on them....but I know how bullets do

The suspect was running away so slowly, if you're a 33yr old patrol officer and not in good enough shape to run down a 50 yr old man, time to turn in your badge.

Is it true all this was over a broken tail light???

What drives me insane is that if there were no cell phone video, this would have been a justifiable shooting with only the cop's story against a dead man, and we'd be arguing the legitimacy of the claim the cop was in fear of his life.

I think this shit goes on way more than people want to admit.

There are some sick individuals who want to become police officers for the power trip and license to kill.

This cop IMO wanted to kill someone and wanted an excuse to shoot.

It began as a tail light infraction. (I read) the guy had some child payment issues (not sure if a warrant) regardless he panicked and either struggled initially with the cop over the taser or just ran...the footage didn't get the stop.

I think BM in particular, can panic and sometimes flee totally on adrenalin and/or fear ..and cops need to understand the effect they have...shit, l panic at lights in my rear..imagine BM.
