Movies with BM/WW Couples

I saw it on A&E years back.

 

Leave it to A&E. I first saw the show MI-5 and the original first episodes of The Avengers when Honorable Blackman played Kathy Gail before Diana Riggs came on after as Emma Peele.

 

Omar Sy (Jurassic World, X-Men) will be co-starring in a movie with Clemence Poesy (In Bruges, Harry Potter) called Two Is A Family.

 

I'm currently watching the live-action Disney movie "Tomorrowland" that came out earlier this year.

Kathryn Hahn plays Keegan-Michael Key's wife in the movie.

 

Noel Clarke was great in Doctor Who and Centurion.

Slaughter starring Jim Brown and including Stella Stevens as his woman was a great movie

 

Stella Stevens was Rip Torn's woman before she became Jim Brown's woman. Slaughter had everything. Action, attitude, comedy and romance.

The scene when Stella's character and Slaughter first make eye w at the casino was classic. Rip Torn(an actor who is very good at playing the villain)asks , "What're you looking'at?" Stella's reply is, "A handsome man." Did you notice that she didn't say a handsome black man? It suggests that she was attracted to handsome men because Rip's character was formidable and intimidating, but not at all attractive. He projected an air of power and he was the dominant force in their relationship. Then along comes Slaughter, who literally sweeps her off her feet.

 

Great find, will have to check it out. (undercover diane keaton fan, lol.)

 

I am watching 5 Flights Up now and I am enjoying it. It is quite realistic in terms of the reality of just trying to live in this world. The relationship between Morgan Freeman(he is executive producer)and Diane Keating was really and Brooklyn, New York serves as the perfect setting. Great performances by all in the film.

 

Got to see that flick myself. I thought it was just set in current time instead of flashbacks. Saw Slaughter myself and enjoyed it. Hope to see that again.

 

Hope to see Samba and Two Is a Family soon.

 

I have to buy Slaughter when I get the chance next week.

 

Never knew this all these years, but Hercules (1983) with Lou Ferrigno has an IR couple in it where the King Of Africa apparently had a white wife?

 

You should also check out The Long Ships starring Richard Widmark, Russia Tamblyn and Sidney Poirier. Sidney played a Moorish king who has a white wife(one of several).

That was probably the third film that Sidney and Richard had worked in. They would be in the film The Henderson Incident. The first was No Way Out in 195?. The Long Ships was filmed on location in a fjord in Norway. What I love most about the film was the music by composers Dusan Radic. It was a great score.

Need I say more?), Slaughter, Shaft and Shaft In Africa(Shaft beds a white woman in both films), Rudy Ray Moore's Dolemite and The Human Tornado, Bird (Forest Whitaker as Charlie "Yardbird" Parker) and Valentine's Day(with Mario Van Peebles).
