I did a little bit of a search and it was interesting to see that he's tied with the number of Grammys with Jay-Z (21). Both are in the top 20 of receiving Grammy's. Taylor Swift was not on that list. That's the thing....there are many different lists and ways of comparing fame and success. Hell look at the Kardashians....clearly famous but for what? The one daughter is a legit model, but the rest? Undeniably famous and successful. I think you made a good point about that he may have been interested in Beyonce. When he went after Kim he did stunts too. Hard to say what goes through that mind.

I didn't downplay a thing, kid. You said Kanye made her famous... you were proven wrong. You said he has way more #1 hits than her... you were proven wrong You then moved the goal posts to fit your bs narrative by saying, oh no, he's produced more #1 hits...but fail to show us all these NUMBER ONE HITS. I looked at his discography yesterday, and trust me, while a few artists are famous, most ARE NOT. Most songs never cracked Billboards 100. Just because he produced (half he co-produced) a song for some unknown rapper, doesn't equate to him having more #1 hits.

I know TDK said this earlier in the thread, too, but I feel the same way. I don't buy for a second he's broke. He allegedly bought his wife 200 gifts for Christmas. How could he lose $53 million in less than 2 months? I think it's a publicity stunt to get people to buy his album.
When Taylor Swift was in country, she was all over the place. She wrote , played instruments and sang in her songs. She had a big following with young girls because she was a young girl singing about the issues young girls face. That was how she was able to cross over into pop so effortlessly. I remember seeing her in an episode of CSI as the the dead victim in a motel room.. She was pretty good. The issue of undeserved fame is inevitable. It's all an example of the late Andy Warhol's 15 minutes of fame theory. If Warhol were alive now, I think he wouldn't have a thing to say.
