If I'm missing something, you can add.
Keeping up with sites like Deadline and Shadow and Act, it was as if I was constantly coming across such news releases. I can't recall all the names right now but I'll list a few that I can recall:
"How It Ends" (Movie made for Netflix in which the daughter of Forest Whitaker is in a relationship with a white guy which is the center of a tale about an apocalyptic event).
"Godless" (An old west Tv series about women who have to defend a town; in the mix their is a romance relationship between a young white cowboy and a black chick).
"Altered Carbon" (TV show in which the white male lead has a black wife)
"The Incredible Jessica James" (movie about the romance between a white guy and a black woman, albeit the movie was purchased at Sundance by Netflix).
"Irreplaceable You" (Romance drama, tear-jerker centered on a relationship between a black woman and a white woman)
"On My Block" (A TV comedy set in South Central in which the main romance is between the black female lead and a Hispanic guy ---okay he's not white but whatever).
And of course "Everything Sucks"
Forgotten some of the other examples but the above are the ones I do recall.
Sounds just like real life.Okay, I just recalled another one an hour ago. The "Dear White People" series based upon the movie. They carried over the IR love story involving the militant black female lead and a white male student.
Molly an TJ on General hospital for 4 years...and Shawn and Alexis before that...

Good point. Nothing positive can include a black maleYes, the film threw shade on the black guy-white gal romance. It wasn't real, the black guy had lost his way. Meanwhile not only was the militant black girl/white guy romance portrayed far more positively, it turned out that the black girl was the product of another healthy interracial relationship between her black mom and white daddy. Notice a pattern? This is predictable considering the writer/director was a gay black man, but if I'm being honest straight black make filmmakers would probably do the same shit.

Currently watching the season premiere of the 7th season/final season of "New Girl" that aired last week. They did a 3-year time jump from last season to this new season. Winston & Aly are married now & expecting their 1st child.I haven't watched this week's episodes (epsiodes 19 & 20 of Season 5) of "New Girl" yet. But on the last week's episodes 17 & 18), Winston & his cop partner Aly (played by former SNL cast memeber Nasim Pedrad) kissed for the 1st time. But Aly told Winston at end of the episode that she was still with her boyfriend (played by Kal Penn).
Also a couple weeks ago (episodes 15 & 16), Winston got married in Vegas to a sista he was only causal dating. It was a prank. But before they could get the marriage annulled, The sista is in the military & ended up getting shipped off to duty. So Winston being married is another obstacle stopping Winston & Aly getting together based off last week's episodes.
@darkcurry @The Dark King @JamalSpunky Y'all see the episode of "Atlanta" that aired last week (Season 2, Episode 7) ?! I'm watching it right now. They taking shots at BW who obsess over BM celebrities who are involved with non-BW. I can only wonder what the reaction to the episode is online was because it feels like Donald Glover is taking direct shots at BW online who bashed him when news came out a year & a half ago about Donald Glover having his 1st kid with his white GF.![]()
EDIT:
Bruh, they really had this darkskin chick (who was the least attractive of this group of Van's friends that went to this house party) stare at, stalk, & rant at this white chick just because she was the GF of some black male celeb. I can see a bunch thinkpieces being written by black feminists, darkskin activists, & etc. because of these scenes.
I had the "Scandal" series finale on in the background a few hours ago. It looked like Mellie & Marcus finally got together in Finale.Saw this Tweet on my timeline today:
