Okay, thinking about the "Carrie Poppins" scene in The Last Jedi. That's the one part of the film I didn't have any problems with. It made perfect sense to me.
Luke used The Force, with zero real training, to pull his light saber out of the snow and to him so he could free himself from the ice in the Empire Strikes Back. It makes sense, that in a dire situation, Leia could do something similar. And keep in mind, she was out in space. There's no gravity in space. So, just a bit of a Force pull, something that wouldn't be enough on a planet, would be more than adequate to get her back to the ship. Remember, if you're in space, and you push off of something, you continue in that direction, at that speed forever. Or, unless you hit another object.
Also, keep in mind, that while space is a vacuum and absolute zero, being out there unprotected isn't an instant death. That's only in TV and movies. You do have about 15 seconds before you lose consciousness in reality.
Throw in The Force and it's a very believable scene.
Now the rest of the movie? ...smdh
