Bump . . . any thoughts on this Black Valyrian royal house in the upcoming HBO adaptation of "Fire & Blood" in the aptly named "House of the Dragon"?

Sounds interesting, but it sounds tortured to try and shoehorn a whole house of black characters into a prequel when we only saw 2-3 blacks en masse in the whole main series, including biracials

This woke inclusion stuff is bunk if it's not organic IMO

Kudos to you for actually reading the books, I'm semi-literate & don't have time to go to the source. Same with The Expanse

Seems tricky...I mean honestly GRRM didnt really do them favors if they want to boost diversity. I mean you probably could add significant Pirate Characters I guess since both the Prince and Valyrian spend a lot of time traversing oceans. But besides that not a lot of choices.

I follow some youtuber called The Dragon Demands if they wanted to add more diversity the best option was really a Prequel leading up the fall of the Valyrian Empire
