Well I wouldn't expect you to understand, but I will explain anyway.

They both believe that government is the answer to practically everything. Neither care much about the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. They both believe it's America's job to police the world and tell other nations what to do. They both interfere in the affairs of other nations.

Here we go with this shit again. Any black person who doesn't get down on all fours and worship our master Obama is a self-hating Uncle Tom fool. This is the only thing you can say, huh? You can't even argue, so you throw out racist stereotypes at those you disagree with. You're weak as hell.

I don't agree with his policies, period! Nothing you say will ever change that. If you wanna believe he's the savior of the world and greatest person ever, fine. To me, he's just another politician who doesn't give a shit about the Constitution.

I'm not gonna question your integrity because I know you aren't a die-hard right-wing neo-con. What I'm guessing is that you seem very pessimistic about the past, present, and future of this country. So what you're really saying is that you don't believe that things will ever change and we're all screwed no matter who is in charge?

With the current Democratic and Republican politicians we have in office, it will be very difficult to have change. I believe they favor the status-quo in all situations. They may say "I want to cut spending" or "I think we need to change our strategy with regards to drugs" or "Our current foreign policy is not working" but nothing ever gets done. The vast majority of politicians will say whatever they have to to get elected. I don't think President Obama is any different.

So to me, I do not think it will matter who is in The White House or Congress

Absolutely not. Instead of making snide comments about others whom you disagree with, why not argue the issues instead?

One of the most important ways it matters is in the appointment of Supreme Court Justices. The recent decisions they have made in issues like municipalities being able to seize homeowners land to give to private enterprises is a good example. Sneak n peek is another.

    What is a Marxist?

Let's see if any of you can successfully answer that without pulling up a wikipedia article.

So you're basically saying that we're all screwed no matter what and things will never get better? If that's the case then why bother getting up in the morning if the battle is already over and we already lost?

Maybe it's me, but I can't take a defeated attitude over these kind of things.

Yeah, I remember that. It's pretty scary to think that government can take your property and give it to someone else. The Supreme Court has failed miserably in protecting Americans' rights. They're as bad as the politicians.

I get up in the morning because I love life. I love my family and friends. I cherish spending time with them. I cherish life. Whatever problems there are in the world and however much I disagree with the politicians and what they do, I still have a life to live. I cannot and will not let any of that get in the way of living my life.

What policies are you referring to and how have these policies violated specific amendments in the Constitution?

Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, Labor, DEA, FBI, CIA, FDA, IRS, USDA, etc.. None of these are the responsibility of the federal government. All of them violate the 10th Amendment.
