Contgratulations!!! What a huge week!
Remember that the distance from your home to NY is the same as the distance from NY back home -
I mean, that if you really feel like going back, you can do so. No harm in that.
You will have an amazing time and take it form an old lady:-) the things you regrett the most are the things you did not do.
You can also draw from this huge family (although dysfunctional at times, lal) - and I think anybody here would extend an ear, arm, hug or other if you needed to.
Have a blast!!!!

Hugs!!!

Iam going to South of France tomorrow, can't wait!!! :)

the guy Iam seeing have disappeared again - oh well that was to be expected, people here warned me too - may be I will learn my lesson now... still im sad and confused about it. I suspect he has another gf now... :-(

Oh well, South of France here I come! :)

good luck to everybody with new / old jobs!

and so sad about Michael Jackson!!! :( and its so horrible swine flue is taking lives...

I am so livid right now.

You know how you wonder if the people who were laid off are worse off or the people who are left behind are worse off? In my case, I'm worse off. All of a sudden, I'm getting these customer service duties thrown on top of me, and I'm not a receptionist, I'm not a customer service representative for a reason.

I hate people. LOL. I hate talking to people I don't know, in a work capacity. I hate having to answer questions.

And of course, my boss is off of work today. He's getting an earful from me on Monday.

Hating my miserable work life right now. :smt013

Hang in there bookie...I know my words may be of little comfort but just keep plugging and remember to count to 10 and breathe deeply when your blood gets a boilin'

Ok ladies...I have to say...I am back in NA after a lllooooooong absence and I had the most interesting night of my life

My best friend dared me $100 to wear this outfit out. Since they lost my luggage I had very little options except for some baggy asss jeans I have been wearing for a few days.

So it started when the bartender asked me out, then the desk clerk. I went out with the bartender because he had been talking to me all night.
"well we ended up at this funky latin bar where there were very hot straight black men dancing on tables. DAAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNNNN

I was asked to dance , put up on the bar, very slightly kissed and have two dates for tomorrow!

Now...I am the first to admit...I am no Cindy Crawford but tonight was my first night out in a "western" bar in about 6 years. IT WAS AWESOME.

I am not interested in the dates but it is nice to know you still got it after all those years. It is 4 am and one guy just called and asked if he could come over! UUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMM NO!

Do you think it is the fact that I had "newbie" written all over me or the fact that I dont give a f&*^ ...?

Either way....I am going back to the same bar tomorrow night!

Call me cheap...call me easy...I DON'T care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THey are not arab and some of these men were hoooooooooootttttttt!

I just might have to move here!

thank you girls for your wishes! I'm sure i'll have a great time in NYC. I'm so curious what will happen to me while i'm there!:)
i'm in Moscow right now, and have a flight tomorrow. hope it'll be safe! :D
I wish everyone to have a great weekend with your families and friends!

I put an offer on a small flat today...but, they didn't accept it. Oh well. Maybe next time, huh? Will keep looking around for an investment property.

Anyway - I'm moving into my new place tomorrow and am spending the weekend packing my few posessions and travelling the 4 suburbs. Yep - big move!

Can't wait. It's going to be great.

It's also 3 weeks till uni starts back. That will be nice, too.

I just woke up.....considering I never wake up later than 5:30.....you know I am feeling rough. Lord. I need a massage....thank goodness my hotel does in room massages!

Lord...I must have lost my mind.

Have you even seen that episode of Seinfeld where George turns into opposite George? Whats up is down, whats left is right? lol

That was me last night....good lord. Not me...but still very fun ;)

What time do you go to bed?!

It depends but it makes no difference. Even if I go to bed at 3 I am still up at 5:30. It is a habit now and as much as I try I just cannot sleep in.

Too much alcohol yesterday....clearly that is the trick to sleeping in.

Now, I just went and picked up some Thai food. Walked by slome VERY hot boys playing basketball. Damn, I LOVE THIS PLACE.

I am going to eat, have a hair of the dog, and go do it all over again!

Athena,

I SERIOUSLY need to re evalute my living situation! The money is nice but I forgot how much I love being in a city with lots of different people.

I think for the rest of the summer I am going to play an e version of Wheres Waldo...but the Vanilla2Chai version.

Post pics and hints and see if you can figure out where I am.

That's how I felt when I was suddenly single after breaking up with my ex boyfriend.

It's nice, huh?! :D And I don't remember if I watched that episode or not. Most Seinfeld episodes I've seen were reeeeally late at night and I was falling asleep on the couch, soooo...not so good for remembering. lol
