:smt009 @ anyone who believes that the existing health care system is okay the way it is and socialized medicine is somehow "unconstitutional". I pity you, I really do.
He's saying that Bill Maher thinks so. Come on, GZ, you're a little quicker than this. Did you go out drinking last night?
Capt. Benjamin Lafayette Sisko says: "In the 24th Century, Conservative douchebags and their tap-dancing apologists don't exist."
Maher is entitled to his opinion. What is Bill Maher had to do with health care reform? He is an entertainer. He is not a senator or congress man and is not going to vote on the bill.
The other poster mentioned him so I voiced my opinion. My point is progressives will bury this country. I remember Jesse Lee Peterson saying Obama is gonna turn america into detroit. Its a true statement.
A) Maher is a libertarian B) Progressives BUILT this country. Without us, this country would be made up of 12 male snake handlers and a traumatized sheep ... everyone else would have run away to Canada.
Seriously, name any three things you like about this country, and you have Progressives to thank for it. Go ahead, I defy anyone to think of anything good in this country that you could have without the efforts of progressives.
yea I heard Maher claim he was a Libertarian. He goes against their platform We favor free-market banking, with unrestricted competition among banks and depository institutions of all types. We favor restoring and reviving a free market health care system. We recognize the freedom of individuals to determine the level of health insurance they want All persons are entitled to keep the fruits of their labor. We call for the repeal of the income tax, the abolishment of the Internal Revenue Service and all federal programs and services not required under the U.S. Constitution. Source http://www.lp.org/platform He is for the income and more taxes for progressive programs. He has came out against bankers as above Libertarians want a ultra free market. Its seems to me that he is only Libertarian when comes to legal weed.
Chairman of the Democratic Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives Posted: March 16, 2010 07:50 PM As soon as health care passes, the American people will see immediate benefits. The legislation will: •Prohibit pre-existing condition exclusions for children in all new plans; •Provide immediate access to insurance for uninsured Americans who are uninsured because of a pre-existing condition through a temporary high-risk pool; •Prohibit dropping people from coverage when they get sick in all individual plans; •Lower seniors prescription drug prices by beginning to close the donut hole; •Offer tax credits to small businesses to purchase coverage; •Eliminate lifetime limits and restrictive annual limits on benefits in all plans; •Require plans to cover an enrollee's dependent children until age 26; •Require new plans to cover preventive services and immunizations without cost-sharing; •Ensure consumers have access to an effective internal and external appeals process to appeal new insurance plan decisions; •Require premium rebates to enrollees from insurers with high administrative expenditures and require public disclosure of the percent of premiums applied to overhead costs.
Your black ass would be shining shoes, working as a train porter or still on the plantation if not for progressives. Or swinging from a tree in the case of liking WW. Assuming you're even black talking bullshit like that.
So are your preferred libertarians libertarian when it comes to legal weed? How about abortion (1.4)? Gay Marriage(1.3)? Government subsidies to business(2.6)? Seems like he's got more of the bases covered than most of the new age "conservative libertarians" of today.
Sneakeedyck has only ever discussed politics directly with me when he didn't know I was a WW. He seems to reach out to Black Men here frequently, appealing to them about how racist the Dems are, or using Beck's talking points to suggest that they'd be more ideologically tied to the right. One would almost wonder whether he hopes while here to recruit more Black Men to the right. And if maybe that's his whole point in being here. Other republicans here have no problem debating the issues with those who disagree (like Sir Nose). Those that will not, or will only debate with other Black Men, seem as tho they have an agenda.
As far as reaching out to black men who else am I supposed to reach out to? I never use Beck talking points they just may sound similar. I have watched first hand how liberal policies have destroyed Baltimore,Detroit, Philly, and DC. I think there is a fear for me that these guys believe anything out of the far left. The young guys on here are the future if we have no morals where will we be? Shot in the back of a alley for five dollars? You just can't tax tax tax one day you will run out of money. Then the left's view radical islam etc. What the Democratic party has become is very scary.
