Immigration Overhaul Calls for Capturing Biometric Data of All US Citizens

    March 20, 2010

Part of the overhaul of US immigration policy would call for new Social Security cards that would include biometric information of all citizens.

Introduced by Sens. Charles Schumer and Lindsey Graham in an op-ed piece in the Washington Post, the immigration overhaul "blueprint" includes bringing in more temporary workers as the US economy demands. It also calls for all US citizens and legal immigrants to provide fingerprint or other biometric data to be included in their Social Security cards.

Employers would use the tamper-proof card and a machine reader to verify via fingerprint or eye scan that the person is both who he says he is and authorized to work in the US, the senators said.

Nope, I am against this. They did this for the jews in another manner and the nazis used it to find and kill jeweish people. They need to find another way besides forcing all of the american public to this manner that may have issues in the near future. This is not the country that has shown tolerance in it's over 200 years of existence.

I support it. Let's not stop there. Let's have GPS track every man, woman, and child in the country. Let's plant embedded computer chips the size of a grain of rice in everyone in this country to monitor and track them as we would do a dog today. Knowledge is power. So is Information is Power. I will do whatever is necessary to be at the forefront of this coming revolution. I will find a way to get information on anyone of my choosing.

Europe has longed planned to use Biometrics. See article below. More recently New Zealand is pushing hard for facial biometrics for all who enter that country.
