I have to disagree with this. A woman can have her tubes tied to save her money if she is really concerned with this. This is a case of life or death with pregnancies. Not having sex out of the marriage prevents that gambling. This also works even if you are or are not married. The woman can also get a divorce to save her money.

 

Most people know if you have sex protected or not, you might get a baby. This isn't a complicated decision. Are you ready should this event happen? If not, you should reconsider having sex.

 

Do you honestly think that everyone, men and women, who aren't prepared to be parents are going to abstain from sex? I don't. It appears an easy answer to the question of unplanned pregnancies, but I don't think it's feasible.

 

Women are not being forced. Most of them willinginly choose to have sex. There are consquences and they are aware of what comes with having sex. Don't have sex if you are not prepared for the scenarios that can happen due to this action.

Wanting the freedom to decide to be present or not present in the life of a child I created should be as much of a right for me as it is for the woman. I understand women risk more by carrying a child but it doesn't entitle you to sole domianship of the childs life and the chump dumb enough to get involved with you. Basic and simple logic would dictate if you want sole decision making power you carry sole responsibility. I'm not advocating right or wrong on the subject just logic. And as for the stupid visectomy question, no I wouldn't want a woman or anyone else deciding if I could have kids or not but I am a decent enough human being to know that forcing someone into something against their will is plain wrong especially if it only suited my needs and not theirs. The don't have sex and be abstinant arguement is fucking dumb and you guys know it. We follow our animal insticts, we are animals and to think people won't have sex is ridiculous that's why we take precautions because we know is unavoidable. I get some of you have kids but it doesn't mean you have to ignore common sense. You don't like the idea of someone controlling you so why would you do it to anyone else.

 

I agree with you that not all will be prepared but you have to face responsibilities for your actions. I mean I am not even saying you have to keep the child. There is adoption. To just wipe the child from existence because you are not ready for the responsibilities is unfair to the child.
