Long story short, she saw one of my parents' wedding pictures. She asked my mom who those people were in the picture. Then she asked if it was my brother. LOL. My mom said, no it's grandpa and me. Its a huge annual international cancer conference so you have little time to have meetings with as many docs as possible and thus - this crazy schedule. Im ded. I wanted to go to Nordstroms in Chitowns as I always do, but I didnt even get a chance to do that:-( Ill be back in October !!!

:smt005 Reminds of when my son saw my mother for the first time since he was an infant. He was 7 and she came for a visit, he looked at her and asked her which grandma she was, she replied 'I'm your momma's momma'. He looked at her straight faced and said 'Wow, I thought you were dead', shrugged his shoulders and walked off. She was a little offended, but I like to died. She still reminds him of that every time she talks to him.
Yep, my son's just full of them too... little man just thinks entirely too much. One of his great Uncle's passed away yesterday and of course everyone was going on about how he's in a better place and he's with all his relatives and loved ones again... you know the usual stuff people say to make you feel better when someone passes away. My son said 'you know there are some of those relatives I just don't want to see again, so I wonder do I have to see them anyway, or can I block them or unfriend them like I do on Facebook?' :smt005 Probably wouldn't have been nearly so amusing if he wasn't serious. I see there are a lot of hockey fans on this board. LOL. I don't watch hockey, though I watched last night's game, and am excited that the Blackhawks brought the Stanley Cup to Chicago! :smt038
I watched that! Well, my brother was and I was surprised because I've never known him to be a hockey fan, but he told me that he just wanted to see Chicago win. He's got a Chicago fetish, like every Chicago (Bulls, Cubs) team in every sport, he wants them to win. I've never watched hockey before, it looked like fun, I'm not really a sport's person at all though, but I can get into it if I'm forced and if it's explained to me.
You know what is so cool about my newest apartment? (I've moved again. I don't know if I said anything about it or not yet). Anyways, I have an air conditioner in my livingroom and an air conditioner in my bedroom and I don't have to pay any electric bill. :smt038 And I'm on the second floor, I have a top floor fetish (2nd floor is the top floor here), heh. Yesterday I found a puppy in the woods. Named him Prince. I'll keep him until next Thursday when he goes to a no-kill shelter in Ohio. He hasn't had an accident in the house yet, despite being severely malnourished and obviously out in the elements awhile. So you know what I'll be doing for the week. :smt050
