Maybe it's a male vs female thing? I don't recall ever hearing a woman use those terms in a pleasant manner. I've actually been slapped a couple times for using terms like that to address a man, granted I was trying to provoke a reaction at the time, so I just don't see me using those to address anyone I actually like. Or maybe it's an age thing, I am older than both you and Drae.

Andrae, the whole thing was pretty transparent. You made a big fuss about going, hung around to see how people would react, then when one or two people mention that they lamented your absence, you make this grand re-entrance like some revered legend who can't deny his "fans" his presence? Please. There were plenty of people who were happy you were gone.

I think it's just a generation thing. These days, shit talking means you are close to a person. Whether it's a male or female in my group. I'll walk in their house and go "What's up muthafuckas". They go "What's up, mofo". I see that in almost all groups my age. People these days will say "fuck you" to a friend and won't get offended. Hell, we crack jokes about each other's families in my group.
I honestly don't think that's it Whikle, one thing I know about Andrae is he really doesn't care what anyone else thinks. He intended to take a break, I have no doubt of that, and sometimes that's really what you need to do. We had a few weeks where it seemed negativity and name calling were really prevalent. I stopped posting for a week or so about that time too, but I still logged in periodically to read posts. Sometimes I think you just have to take a couple days off when you start getting irritated or tired of arguing, but it's hard to stay away for long. However, I am pleased Andrae is back, he's always up for a good discussion.
