Majority Of Blacks Believe They're Better Off Under President Obama

A recent BlackPlanet/NewsOne poll with close to 2,000 respondents scattered across the country found that 67 percent of Black America believes they are better off under President Obama, while 33 percent believe they are worse off. There are many African-Americans who feel President Obama is getting a bad rap and has done a good job.

I'm all for a good discussion, but are we at all surprised by the findings of "BLACKPLANET's poll? I'm kinda currious where they found the 33% of self hatin niggas that feel they are worse off now. Maybe they feel white people will try to keep them down more.

To answer the question, do I feel better off? I don't feel any worse off, that's for sure.

 

Our country is definitely better off, and I am glad he is the president.

 

Materially I was better off with Bush, spiritually I feel better about our relationship to certain parts of the world with Obama.

Materially and spiritually I was at my best with Clinton in office, but also knew less about the world.

 

Obama need stop being passive though....

I have to say materially I was much better off under Bush.

 

Maybe that 33% understand their dollar is worth less
Maybe that 33% understand their real-estate property is worth less
Maybe that 33% understand that black unemployment is the highest its been in 25 years.
Maybe that 33% understand the dropout rate for black highschool students is over 10%
Maybe that 33% understand that some 70% of black youth won't grow up with a father.
Maybe that 33% understand that Obama ain't done nothing for the above.

I am proud that the Commander in Chief is a brutha. We have come a long way as a country but we still have ways to go. But he's got to do more than just being black. He's got to produce, and up to this point he really ain't done shit but allowed himself to get his ass kicked.
