New, but glad I found the site

I have no horse in the race, but I was just wondering what aspects of morality are "grist for the mill"? Granted, all of us have individual ideas about what is moral behavior and what isn't moral behavior. The divorce rate is greater than 50% in the U.S. and numerous surveys show that a large percentage of partners, male and female, cheat sometime during their marriage.

Having said that I don't believe that spouses should cheat on one another either. Yes, this is a forum that claims the participants are interested in "healthy" WWBM relationships. But, where do you draw the lines at behavior that should be criticized? Obviously, people have mentioned married men but what about single men and women with multiple simultaneous relationships? How about men or women who have "friends with benefits" relationships? How about people who are dishonest, lie or steal. How about those who are disrespectful? How about those that engage in certain sexual acts or those who have certain sexual preferences?

All those can be viewed as immoral behaviors by commonly accepted definitions. So, why should we judge one more harshly than another?

For me, it's just a question for thought, because I don't judge anyone. I'm far too concerned about my own shortcomings and improving to be the best I can be. It's for them and their partners to sort out.

You are really, truly missing something vital here... you cant lump all of those behaviors into the same bag.

There is immoral behavior, and then there is immoral behavior that is affecting someones rights and mental and physical health.

For example two willing and single partners that have a friends w benefit, no one is getting hurt. Everybody involved agree, fine. . or if you engage in particular sexual acts and everybody is consenting...I don't say that is immoral... I'm just taking your examples to demonstrate what I mean.

If someone cheats - there is a person that is getting lied to and has not consented thus getting their rights violated.

What we are discussing is behavior that affect other people that was not given a right to be informed and make a decision - somebody else took it upon themselves to make that decision for them.

You can do whatever you want, be as immoral as you want imo, its your freedom, BUT your right ends when somebody else's rights are affected.

I respectfully disagree with you. You may not choose to group them together, but they are all commonly accepted immoral behaviors by some people. As I said, I'm not judging.

However, accepting your premise, people can be hurt in many different kinds of relationships for many different reasons. People can also practice safe sex to avoid the health issues.

So, if a man or woman lies to someone and says that they care them and they end up in a relationship or they have sex, then under your definition, you agree that person has affected the rights of the other, because their consent was obtained falsely, yes? There is also certainly the potential for the non-lying partner to be hurt when he or she finds out that someone used them?

Your opinion

Dude SHE said she was cheating on her husband. SHE layed out the story not me. And if she were going through a seperation or a divorce why call it cheating. She's down right disgusting

You have your opinion, and your free to express it in a respectful manner, that is all I ask. I disagree with you completly, because you have no clue who I am or what my life has been like. I put a little bit of why I am on this site, because I thought it was important to understand why I was here. You are not the judge and jury for all man kind, but you think you on this site.

I am curious, JulieM. How did you feel after you cheated?

Have you cheated with other men besides this black man? Was it fulfilling for you, and has this set you on a course of self discovery?

I am not asking these questions because I am a morality cop on the beat, but rather to explore some dimensions of your experience if you feel so willing to share.

JulieM- I cannot share your opinion concerning this special topic, but of course, you are right when you say that nobody knows about your circumstances. You are also right, when you want to be talked to in a respectful way. A discussion should never be that attacking or emotional. So feel welcomed ..Christine

Christine I love your biased pc bs posts. Keep it up.

Lol. Actually I am always honest so much so it gets me in a lot of problems. I don't have the ability to be phony and I will continue to judge pieces of shit who are so flippant about their health and the health of others.
Btw we judge on this forum ALOT. We judge what we think people should and shouldn't say what their responses should be. How we should view bm and ww and fat ww. So why should this chick get a pass?
She shouldn't....no at all

But it only seems as the "Don't be judgment" Goof Troop only comes out when something they like is being Judged.

...other than that, its ok to judge. And they will why I call a good number of these idiots phony. The women AND the dudes. And it cracks me up.

I don't give as hit what she does.....she's wrong, she knows she's wrong...but I'm going to comment on here the say way I would anyone else. This site moves in the mass mental mentality and its fully of lemmings.
