This is the truth Appiah...consider yourself repped! While I find Fan to be annoying at times towards me personally, I do not think he started this thread for the purpose of pissing off the women here. Yet, somehow he had to know that shit was going to hit the fan when he did this. So I asked him why he did it. Then once I got my answer from him, I had to choose whether I thought he was being truthful or not. When he announced that he was getting engaged, a lot of love was shown to him.:smt045 This is what helped me to decide that he sincerely wanted to discuss an issue, which is very apparent BTW in my southern part of the country. Why would a man turn around and purposely stick a dagger in those who showed him so much love when he announced his engagement to a beautiful lady? Either he's one sick bastard or maybe he is much like myself...a stickler for good discussion on things that interest or peaks his curiosity. I went with the latter.

Personally, I believe he wanted to discuss an apparent issue and bounce some thoughts off of us. That's it. This is a good place to do that, but some took the discussion to a personal level and this is where things got heated and I began to crave popcorn and Dr.Pepper. With Fan not responding delicately to some of the ladies, this only made things worse. Yes, we females are emotional but that is in no way a weakness. Whenever, a man wants to discuss a thing that concerns women in any way or fashion, he must consider how he brings it if he wants the discussion to continue in a forward movement. That's just the way things are.


Personally, I felt the video had a lot of valid points and was a fair accessment overall. It makes for a very good discussion. I love good discussions many times more than I like the person I'm (Fan for example) discussing a thing with. Yet, respect must be a given on both sides of the issue. After all, this is not (as Fan said) www.AssKissing.com. We should all feel like we can discuss things concerning IRRs without fear or concern that we are gonna get cussed out or neg repped for it...else this is not a forum but a socialist regeime frontier in cyberspace. I know we don't want that now do we? We are friends(for the most part) here and we should never let issues bring the kind of stuff out of us that it does. Discussions about issues concerning IRRs here at this forum should result in better cohesion rather than division.

Dude I also said that bm tend to settle per the video and the dudes on here weren't nearly as offended as the women were. Maybe because many of them don't think the statement applies to them or they've seen it too. Whatever the reason most of them didn't get so offended.

 

Popcorn and Coke are disgusting for your health. You might fall into the obesity trap if you don't burn some pounds off from eating that crap.

By the way, you also spelled assessment and regime incorrectly. If you've got better English, people can take your opinions more seriously.

Also, he created the thread on April fools, nothing has really happened with him. Some people already knew, they just didn't bother to reply.

 

Thanks for the health advice and the spelling corrections. I will try and do better in the future. Hopefully, one day I will be like Mike and never eat popcorn, drink Dr.Pepper or misspell words. What a wonderful life you must have.

 

I never stated that my life was wonderful. It's not perfect, just like every other person's life is. Anyhow, I disagree with most of the things in your reply.

Also, people who are not overweight/obese have a better quality of life over those who do. There are articles on the internet that prove it.

F, you are a very good poster and make very valid arguments. But can you see why the above quote goes against your many, well reasoned arguments? It reads like a very emotional, angry response to me, especially when you use such generalizations as "you guys (women) rarely if ever..emotional nonsense." It reads as if you have baggage there, and can be construed as sexist, or can be perceived as such, and undercuts your many well reasoned statements throughout.
