Fanny I do believe there is a racial hierarchy and I said as much in a thread bmj had to do with this subject. That does take work. She must be miserable in her life or dating to spend time on that as opposed to contructive things or meeting people. I do believe in agendas and controlling who other people date with mind games. Our infrastructure really have nothing to do with the GOP's wrongdoings. I know the TEA-Party and the far-right GOP leaders are basically nothing but of bunch of liars who cater to the corporations and are woefully ignorant of progress, but infrastructure has more to do with longevity and it was needed for an overhaul. That's time simply showing itself. The building codes and structures are designed to be in good shape for X amount of years. Eventually, the structures will be too archaic or old that it would require some new structures to replace the old ones. We have the worst in the world now and it would cost up to $1.5 trillion just to get it all done within a 10 year cycle. This is according to the American Society of Civil Engineers. Luckily, President Clinton signed something in which in 2015, there will be a heavy demand to update the infrastructure. So that would mean lots and lots of construction will be coming in full force and engineers (notably civil) will be on demand.

The other concern I have is definitely about the national debt within our country, when Clinton was in office, the country actually had a surplus. Now we're fighting a bunch of wars and we have to borrow money from China. To lower the deficit, the Feds should issue more government securities, make budget cuts to services, and increase taxes, especially on the wealthy.

That is a decent plan, but unfortunately in this game of political chess, corporations definitely have a lot of sway. Unless people start being creative with making money, this country will continue to cater to the top 1%. I can be a capitalist-socialist in this case to be honest, but the masses would find me too "Draconian" in my economic policies.
