Right! New Years Eve, I will be attending a Black Tie affair in Danbury Connecticut. Once the event is over, my date and I are off to Webster Hall. I’m in need of a new pair of Tuxedo Shoes so I’m off to Syms to purchase a pair. Cheers!
Cheers JordanC! May 2011 be as fruitful as your heart. Why are you so hesitant in sharing what you like to sport?
My style goes like this: Polo shirt, jeans, white air-force on my relaxed days Biker t-shirt, dickies, chuck taylors on my lazy days when I don't care( mainly wear this when I'm going to antique trade shows) Long-sleeve knit shirt, jeans and some stylish loafers or some Timberland stuff when going out. Upscale spots I wear Kenneth Cole or Perry Ellis stuff
think we need a pic of you in the tux now that new years eve is done. hope it was a wonderful night artyman:
Great idea. Complex, I see lots of people mention Webster Hall. Can you tell us about it? Curious what it is like.
Tarshibear I’m sorry. I don’t post photographs of myself on the Internet. The whole Facebook phenomenon is not my cup of tea. If you are ever in New York, and are curious what I resemble, we can meet in Starbucks for brunch. JordanC Webster Hall is a very old movie theatre that transformed into a nightclub decades ago. It offers three floors based on your musical taste. Hip Hop/R&B with very minimal reggae in the basement Classic Pop from the 70’s 80, 90’s on the first floor Trance/House (Not Deep/Funky House) on the top floor It is very tourists orientated and, classed as watered-downed (Americans tend to say cheesy) club to the locals. However, the atmosphere and, staff is very friendly. In addition to being very friendly, it is a very safe club despite its size. The Men to Women ratio is pretty balanced, however since this is whitewomenblackmen.com, you may find yourself in the basement. I’m an ex-raver so I tend to stay on the top floor or the first floor when I visit. I grew out of Hip Hop Music by my late teens so I really don’t have much experience what occurs in the basement. From my short visit, it seems to be more Men to Women so you will have more options. Webster Hall is not the best club, however if someone cannot make the best of the night attending this historic club, they are more than likely anti-social or don’t like to dance. The patrons are more to-wards the 21 and over, well-to-do crowd (College bound and/or Office Types), which can be a good or bad thing pending on where you stand, based on your circle of friends. Cheers!
