the fact he was a black man is not the story that should be concentrated on....It is the comments that people make when they read the story thinking it was a white man. I wonder why people cant believe BM/BW can not be eurdites and inventors ? why do they think BM especially are all thugs ?

I think he should get a slot in African-American history texts, imo (because we know he won't get a shake in vanilla American history books). The gaming market is HUGE, but it had a traceable genesis just like everything else.

and you weren't going to know that until the mothafucka died. You always read about Bill Gates and all of the other white men involved in computing, but you never hear about anything remotely involving blacks such as this. Utterly disgusting and contributes to the social mindfuck blacks get in this country.

obscurities like these just happens to be why SEPTA, our transportation system here in the Killa-delph, has 'black history' posters inside their trains. It may not mean much to non-blacks in this country, but it means a lot to many of us that grew up under the jackboot of all-things white. So, on the posters you'll see local CEOs, lawyers, engineers etc that are contributing to the city in their own way.

Stuff like that motivates you, and makes you realize that you have as much opportunity as anyone else, which always wasn't the case.

This is the damn truth. If blacks were all deported from America along with all of their copyrighted inventions and ideas, America would fall apart instantly. This does not include the many inventions by black men that were claimed and stolen by whites.
