Trump Not Acting Very Presidential...

Am I the only one who finds D. Trump's behavior to be less than Presidential. Recently, he has lashed out against two people, Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Cosby, because he felt slighted by them.

In the case of Seinfeld, he was upset that Seinfeld chose to withdraw from a charity event that he had agreed to attend. Seinfeld stated that he had become uncomfortable with Trump's very aggressive stance on the issue of Obama's citizenship. Trump chided Bill Cosby as being "two faced" because Cosby said that he should clearly announce his intentions to run or not run for president. Trump responded by saying that Cosby must be an Obama supporter, and that Cosby knows that he can't announce his intentions until after his show, The Apprentice" has ended the season.

Trump wrote person letters to both Entertainers, detailing the facts and adding language which made it clear that he was attacking them personally. The letters sounds more like the responses I see on our forum, to be honest, and that's saying a lot in itself.

Simply, is that how we expect someone aspiring to the highest office in the land to behave? I would hope that he would have better things to consider as he contemplates whether to run, IMO?

I remember quite a bit about Nixon, that he was a racist, incredibly paranoid, drank heavily while in office and was said to be mentally ill. So, yes, it is what you make of it...

 

I like Trump. I will vote for him if he is a serious candidate. We need a strong man in the White House again. We do not need these wimpy ass castrated men who get no respect from the world.

Arnold was strong, at least physically, lol, and look at the state of California now. We need insightful, intelligent leaders, and a senate and congress willing to actually tackle the problems together that confront this country.

 

Trump was born into money, has NEVER lived on main street and has bankrupted businesses several times. So, does he exemplify that strong person that you want in office?

Donald Trump has never been Presidential. In my opinion, he is a moderately successful businessman (made lots of money, but also several high profile failures/bankruptcies) who has become an entertainer. The fact that he is engaging with entertainers places him in that category.

It would be genuinely humiliating to have him as President... not to mention the fact that he would want to paint the White House gold and put his name on top of it.

I don't know how he is getting the support in the polls that he is getting. I can only assume that there are a lot of republican voters out there with a wicked sense of humor.

Then again, who would ever have guessed that Sarah Palin could be viewed as a viable candidate. It becomes increasingly obvious that the average American know little to nothing about what it takes to serve as this nation's leader. Unlike many Americans, I'm not looking for someone with whom I can share a beer over the kitchen table.

I also agree that is would be humiliating and distressing to see him in the highest office.
