Uganda Anti-Gay Bill FAILS! REJOICE!!!!

BBC NEWS: Uganda's Anti-Gay Bill is Shelved.

My take on the matter: This definitely come off as a surprise. There are already seven other countries in the world, with four in Africa with laws that practically make homosexuality illegal. Giving Uganda's conservative nature, I would have thought it would pass.

However, I'm VERY pleased to know that the bill practically died. And this is a good sign that despite conservative whims, there are some practical people in that country. Uganda's history have been volatile, but now, they are trying to cultivate a society by example, but hopefully for the right causes and not for scapegoats.

Yes. If they suspect that you're a homosexual and engage in sexual activity in the privacy of your home, they will basically execute both parties.

If you're someone who KNOWS someone who is gay, but won't report it...you'll get life in prison.
