No not Obamacare which , Republicans want to repeal. Our private system that Republicans want to reinforce in all of it’s unrestrained greedy, bankrupting greatness has been disavowed and denounced by conservative British P.M. David Cameron. http://www.latimes.com/health/la-fg-britain-health-care-20110613,0,1237142.story
Yea, you keep thinking that buddy. That little girl who died before the healthcare law was passed after the insurance comapny kicked her off is proof that just getting up and going to work does not work. The system is just too ugly and americans too distracted to care.
You Republicans crack me the fuck up with that horseshit argument everytime. What good is having great doctors if people have NO ACCESS to them genius. We might have greatly trained healthcare professionals but the system sucks balls. Up until a couple of years ago a pre existing condition could keep you from treatment meaning if you through no fault of your own got cancer the second time around you're on your own financially. Insurance companies are fucking cut throat and don't give a fuck about people. That's what happens when you turn a public need into a for profit system. We socialize our police force, our fire departments, and our education up until 12th grade. Why should something as important as health be any different?
News Flash: The American health-care system is ranked #37 in the charts. That's below the UK, Canada, Switzerland, France, Sweden, among many. There's a critical difference between having the best quality healthcare and the most expensive, which the US thrives on. The quality of the health-care is really good in the US, but far from the best. Rather giving people the same treatment, insurance companies and businesses in the US grant those who have the financial means to get the best quality health-care. This is why other countries outdo the United States in the following areas: 1. Preventable Deaths 2. Health Life Expectancy 3. Health Performance The US hardly has the best health-care system. That part is a myth.
The World Health Organization isn't a "liberal" think tank. Far from it, kiddo. However, your link, the CONSERVATIVE Post clearly has an off beat, right-wing slant. And the fact you're fixating yourself on the birth aspects and not the overall health and well being of people shows that you're losing ground on so many levels. There's more to the overall rankings of health than merely birth deaths, in which WHO takes a strict approach on. BUT... Since you think that this is a partisan issue, here's another link relating to LIFE EXPECTANCY BY NATION. Oh! And here's MORE, complete with date relating to all known causes of death based on everything you've stated. It's far more comprehensive and based on information collected as opposed to simply an article from your link. Try again.
What I'm seeing here paniro is that you think data is simply wrong. There's a method to how statistics work. The information you're citing comes from right-wing think tanks who've been at odds with government funded organizations that have collected data. They don't want to admit that the US Health-care system have their flaws. And again, there's more to it than merely mortality. It's the overall quality of the health-care in which you haven't addressed at all in your topics. The fact is that the U.S. isn't nearly as perfect as many of us want to believe. The quality of the health-care is fundamentally good, but accessibility to equally assured health-care for everyone is disproportionate. This part, you've failed to address, hence the sources from WHO and other outlets in rankings are more precise than the jargon you're spewing out your mouth.
Is that all you can say? Hmmm, I'd expect you to put up more of a fight with your bulging muscles and thick lips of broth.
Hahaha, if I was brand-spanking new, a certain someone on these forums would go on a tirade. Hell, this PICTURE is funnier and this would rile up some people.
I read about that when Cameron was elected PM. The Brits better fight for their health care plan-hard. Don't end up like America's health care plan.
Well it's the best system if you're loaded to afford the expensive healthcare, dipshit. Jesus, what is wrong with some of you people? We're the only developed country on planet Earth with an astounding amount of citizens without decent medical care.
