Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann was surely confused Monday when she suggested she had the “spirit” of a serial killer. “Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That’s the kind of spirit that I have, too,” she told Fox News prior to the official announcement of her candidacy in Waterloo. Conservative newspaper The Washington Times was first to point out that the presidential hopeful had picked the wrong John Wayne. “Waterloo’s John Wayne was not the beloved movie star, but rather John Wayne Gacy, the serial killer,” Stephen Dinan wrote. This video is from Fox News’ America’s Newsroom, broadcast June 27, 2011.
She's already been identified as someone to watch because of her tendency to get the facts wrong. She incorrectly suggested that Obama was responsible for the deaths of up to 30,000 civilians because of his decision to drop bombs in Libya. The truth is that there were undocumented reports that up to 30,000 may have been killed since the unrest began in Libya. She also incorrectly stated that since Obama took office only 1 permit had been approved for oil drilling. The facts showed that closer to 100 permits had been approved, including deep water drilling. So, we can continue to look for more misinformation from this one.
Same bitch claiming the U.S. is now being run by 'Gangster Government'. Wtf is up with all these subliminal tactics? We all know its because of the presidents ethinicity. 'Taking our country back' ??? From who? The black man in office???
You're a fucking idiot. Here, here's the definition of a "flake" and see how it applies to some like Bachmann jackass: Now for someone to be a flake, it would require someone to not follow through their fucking promises, continues to deliver inaccurate information and flip-flop, dipshit. Example one, she turned her back on her own constituents in her own state by going against the very thing she advocated before: increase in sales tax, which would help the fishers and hunters in her own state and generate some revenue as well. She continues to mislead voters with her batshit inaccurate information. You don't even bother keeping up with politics either and if you did, then this sort of information about her isn't based on "liberal bias" as your crazy ass implied. Rather, it's based on the nonsense spewed from her awful State of the Union address and other issues. If you even bothered looking into all that instead of picking sides, you would look less like an idiot. You try too hard to call yourself a "thinking man". In reality, you're only making yourself look worse and coming off as being completely unintelligible. Look kid, you never have anything intelligent to say. If there's anyone who parrots others, it's you. You try too hard to claim you're a moderate, when you're clearly not and all you do is resort to childish behavior. I hope you're really the little girl in one of your pictures (daughter) and not the grown ass muscle meat head trying to be mature in these discussions because it's awfully embarrassing.
See my point? You have nothing to contribute. Stop trying too hard. If this behavior is reflected on your daughter, then the nut didn't fall too far from the tree.
The flake's greatest hits: http://www.alternet.org/teaparty/15...idential_contender_michele_bachmann_has_said/ Maybe she really meant Gacy! :smt043
It's too laughable. I don't see how anyone would vote for someone as batshit as her. Minnesota have their good nuts (Jesse Ventura) and bad nuts (Bachmann). Sadly the good nut left and is currently in New Mexico.
What I like is intelligent discourse, which is something you've proved yourself incapable of providing. Next question??
Most posters to this thread have offered substantive evidence of their contentions, and your only retort is sophomoric taunts. Obviously, BBW was correct. You have nothing to add to this discussion, that is truly relevant.
You're better off not posting on this thread anymore given that your credibility of being a remotely well informed individual has been shot down significantly. None of us pander to any political rhetoric, although we hold some form of bias. However, we judge based on their character and what information provided, with proof to back it up, gives us voters a sense of knowing what sort of person we're dealing with. You desperately try hard to come off as being a moderate, but you're failing miserably. All I see from you is an apolitical parrot who only read what's on here and form a conclusion based on what exactly? Pansy pandering as what I'd call it. You don't bother reading about the candidates themselves, but you only hear about them based on ear. You're more of a lackadaisical parrot than anyone you accuse of them of being. And this is the sad truth.
And yet he bounces from thread to thread like the Flying Dutchman without offering any insight at all. Perhaps, he doesn't realize that it was Chris Wallace of Fox News that asked her if she was a flake, lol. Another Republican politician remarked, "I don't think I ever served with anybody who I mistrusted more, from either side of the aisle." So, who really is displaying the traits of the organ grinder's monkey, doing tricks at the beck and call of the Right/Wrong Winged organ grinder in hopes of obtaining favor and peanuts, which is all you will get from that group.
Paniro has a hard time articulating himself and expect me to just "sit back". And you're absolutely correct, this came from a Fox News outlet too, in which he failed to realize. Fox News = Robert Ailes, who worked for Reagan and that doesn't spell "liberal" at all. He continues to bask in ignorance and reject much of what we're saying about her. And in the end, he tries to save face by saying he doesn't like her because she's like Palin. I swear, maybe he's on the roids.
Michelle Bachmann is a NAZI RethugliKKKlan. She has no chance of winning and it will be another four years of OBAMA HEAVEN
As obviously incompetent and unprepared as this woman is for the Oval Office, I won't dismiss her as a contender. Anyone read Matt Taibbi's latest piece on her in Rolling Stone? It's quite a good read and it explains in much more depth why I believe she should be taken seriously as a contender.
