I personally can't call him a good or bad president, as I haven't been adult long enough to compare him to anymore than one other president.

We're supposed to support this motherfucker no matter how weak and inept he is in dealing with the opposition and no matter how much he ignores the needs of the coalition that put him in office (not just black people) and the welfare of the country as a whole? FUCK THAT.

This motherfucker, Obama, is turning out to be worse than Bush. He normalized a lot of the more egregious Bush administration policies by refusing to prosecute the people who broke the law under Bush's watch and, in some cases, by continuing them (e.g. spying on the American public). He put the motherfuckers who caused the financial crisis like Larry Summers in charge of the economy. His idea for economic recovery is giving money away to the banks at zero percent interest. Then there's the fact that he's allegedly a "Democratic" president who's totally unresponsive to anybody on the left. The President refuses to fight the Republicans on ANY issue. The sum total of his strategy is to give them what they want so that he can claim that he compromised and look like a "centrist." This stupid motherfucker offered to destroy social security and medicare as part of the negotiations over raising the debt ceiling. Why the fuck was he negotiating with those Republican lunatics in Congress in the first place? Raising the debt ceiling is a routine procedure that allows the U.S. government and economy to continue to function. These crazy ass Republicans threaten to blow up the U.S. economy if they don't get their way, and Obama caved into them yet again.

Now let's talk about how Obama has treated the black community. He's totally ignored any black person who isn't part of the beltway political or media elite. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, who's one of Obama's robots in Congress, came out and said that the administration doesn't want to address the hardship that a lot of black people have faced, especially since the economy tanked, because they don't want to be accused of showing black people favoritism. If he's too scared to address the needs of one of his core constituencies which comprises 13% of the U.S. population, what the fuck good is he? What the fuck did putting his craven ass in the White House accomplish? He's nothing but a puppet of the corporatists who gave him the vast majority of his campaign funds.

I'll tell you what Karma, you're one of the smarter brothers around here, but you need to wake up on Obama. His policies are going to help usher in the next economic crash which many people will solely blame him for. His election stirred up all sorts of resentment and anger from white people who are terrified about becoming minorities in America in spite of the reality that he cares little about anything that will politically help his base. When all is said and done, that motherfucker, Obama, will have set black people back about 30 years in this country. You just wait and see.

But I guess we're supposed to be happy and show him blind support just because he "made history." Negro please. Many black people finally got the wake up call about the Clintons during '08 primaries. I hope it doesn't take as long to figure out the same about Obama.

 

Great post. Except that there is NO SUCH THING as throwing your President under the bus. WE hired him, he works for US, (and yes the US). If he is not performing well, he DOES NOT GET A PASS. It's too important to ignore for the sake of appeasing "crab in the barrel" whining.

 

I must admit, I was shocked to learn he has appointed former Wall Street fuckups to financial advisory positions in his cabinet. Why, Mr President??
