I wish this President would do a bus tour through the communities of black America. Since 95 % of blacks put his ass in office he should at least show those who supported him the most to have their concerns showcased to the world. He mentioned getting this country back to making things again "Made in America" even though the bus he is riding was made in Canada. Mr. President at least make an effort to tour the ghettos and depressed communities and show those who had high hopes for you to show that you care and is doing the best you can for them. No vacation at Martha's Vineyards, vacation to the black communities for a change. If your wife can go to South Africa and express your concerns for the peoples of that country then you or her can do likewise for the blacks in this country. The Congressional Black Caucus is ready to do battle with you Sir. Rep. Maxine Waters is getting pissed Mr. President about your lack of concern for blacks who put you in office.

Damn, I would hate to be in his shoes, the man is getting hate from every corner, he almost appears to be public enemy # 1. With all his base threating to abandon him, he might need to legalize the illegal immigrants just to get some serious vote, lol. Bama rise up, put that Harvard education to use & turn the econmoy around, lol.

there is an audio or maybe a video of maxine waters getting worked by the black voters in her district. they were going in on her about jobs. the local conservative radio show was playing it. I and other black folks stated we are glad that it got out because he shows we (blacks) are not monolithic people and we will not blindly follow people simply because they are black...we may support but will you accountable.

(the radio show host pointed out that he believe that white people are happy to see this because we do now understand that blacks arent just gonna follow people because of their race) the radio show host stated its funny because white people do the same in a since. example , whites vote from the south will quickly vote for a southern person before a person from the north or west coast. He laughed and stated " whites and blacks are no different its just how it is applied sort of speak"

The black producer stated " the only color people see at the end of the day is green. everyone wants a job and live...black and white. we vote with our wallet"

Please the vast majority of blacks will vote for Obama regardless. Not that BHO shouldn't fall thru the hood and see what's up.

This is just a shake of my head.
This guy is trying to make money to get elected again. I don't know how you can get elected without any money. If black people want to lay blame they need to turn to congress and those CBC members that have been there over 8 years and have done little to assist the black community and yet they are the first to blame the brother. You got plenty of local politicians in those ghettos that have yet to turn them around but do you see blame on them. no, It's obama.

keep thinking one man can fix your problems on a job that requires general solutions.

    Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding

Sums it up right there petty.

Its about how much money you have to donate to the coffers.

This is why I'm so indifferent about politics, who are we kidding, its about the Benjamins.

    seriously

in an ideal country, anyone that was interested in running would be able to get their name on a ballot regardless of how ivy-league their pedigree was, or how many friends in high places they can call upon. All that would matter was their relative stance on the issues, political background and things of that nature. In short, a more equal-opportunity type of politics, instead of this 'chosen one' shit in which the bloodline of the monarchy has been replaced by other attributes.

Even if you don't agree with were Obama has taken the country. He is a vastly superior choice then his competition. Mark my words, if one of those Tea-partiers gets into office, we as a nation are going to be royally fucked.

Agreed. After what's demonstrated with the debt ceiling, there's no way I'd let them near the White House grass. Hell, even when they started to voice their reactionary rhetoric, I'm VERY convinced that the nation would fall into despair and we would be set back by 100 years.

That being said, Obama's still a safe bet. It's only his third year. He has done a lot so far, but more work must be done under this administration and we won't see that until he wins his second term. I believe from there, the floodgates of the inner pragmatist will flow into the nation.

There is one thing I think is probable. A second term president would be more likely to do all the things promised because there's little to lose in terms of popularity. It's just now...that next year, some progressive wings need to step up and maybe have left leaning moderates to work with the people.

BO rise up & use that Havaaaad Edumacation to use. Ppl might sit at home than voting for him. Now the repubs are pushin' Ryan, Chris Christie and Rubio (to get the hispanic vote) to run. BO might have issues in November.
