Oh yum! I love cilantro...I could eat it alone. I make cilantro pesto instead of basil and I put it in my hummus. Hmmmmm today might be a make pesto, hummus day. Farmers market here I come! And I am back on the cooked food Tarshi. It is getting cooler here and raw stuff jsut wasn't doing it for me.
I grow my own herbs and my basil generally does quite well so I usually have an abundance of it, I'm a big fat failure when it comes to cilantro. Mint and lemon balm are two of my favorites... very easy to grow indoors so the wonderful smell stays in my house.
Another domestic thing I suck at...growing plants. I forget to water them. Cooking with fresh herbs is a wonderful thing. (See, what I've really needed all a long was a male wife - someone to cook, water the plants, do the laundry, while I earned the money.)
